Chloe was a nice, girl, but way too naive for her own good. She easily trusted wolves, especially males. She also had a tendency to develop "crushes" quite easily and often mistook kindness from the other gender for romantic interest.
When she was just a teen, she had met
Rayden, who had stuck up for her against some other wolves that had been picking on her for her freckled face. As usual, she fell far too quickly for him, but luckily for her, he also seemed to return the favor. She ran off with him when she was a teen, which devastated her mother.
The time they had spent together was wonderful - for awhile at least. She never really had any close friends or anything growing up Rayden was the first wolf who had stuck around her besides her family. After a year of being with him, she had become way too dependent and needy. She couldn't think for herself, and always just followed Rayden around, not trying to make her own friends, and just sitting around the den feeling sorry for herself when he did have to go out on his own.
Chloe came to not trust anyone very easily after that. There were probably many opportunities she had passed on for love again, but she was blinded by the hurt she had suffered with Rayden. She simply did not see that she was the one that had driven him away herself.

She had been alone now for months. She sighed and decided to go for a walk. She found her walks to be quite relaxing, and found a spot with a huge willow tree, where the branches hung down over her, creating a little haven. She visited this place nearly everyday.
Little did she know she was being watched, and admired from afar.
