Stepping into this room is like stepping into a different and dark world, the outlines of furniture can be seen dimly in the pale light that shines through a window. outside a strange landscape stretches out under two moons, one pale white, the other jet black.

Val steps into his new room, sets Sel's cage down and looks around "nice rooms, now to add the touch of home." closing his eyes, Val concentrates and shifts the room to the Shadow realm, leaving the door as a portal back to the material world. "there, just like home, eh Sel?" the bird looks at Val *chirp*. Sitting down, Val removes his mask and coat and relaxes into his chair and let's out a sigh of relief. "Finally, I can take that mask off."

Val's eyes snap open as he feels another ripple in the shadow weave close to his room "now what?" he said with a grumble. He got up and glanced at Sel "I'll be right back" and shifts out of his room

Stepping back into his room, Val walked over to Sel's cage and opened it. Sel flew out and landed on his shoulder, singing a happy tune. Val smiled "I see that you like it here as much as I do." he said with a laugh. He reached into Sel's feeder and scooped up a small handful of seeds, then sat down into his chair. Sel hopped off his shoulder and started to eat the seeds as Val relaxed, waiting for Akira

hikaru knocked on the door "hey Val, can i get Sel? Akira wants to see him. or is it s girl?"

Val put Sel back in his cage. He reformed his mask as he opened the door "hey Hikaru. I thought Akira was coming." he said as he looked out into the hallway. "by the way, Sel is a boy." He opened the door wider to let Hikaru in.

"ahh so its a dude. sup little dude?" he said looking into the cage. he looked up and saw Vals room "whoa! its like, pitch dark in there, almost."

Val smirked "well, yeah. I am from the shadow realm. it's kinda my thing." he said with a chuckle. "but seriously, the reason it's dark is because we are on my home plane. just look outside the window if you don't believe me" He points at the two moons off in the distance. Val turned to Akira. "hey, was wondering when you'd show up." he said with a smile
