Nefriti walked into the lonesome, seemingly abandoned room. "So, I'm a child of Bastet (Bast), eh?" She saw a huge golden statue of a woman cat in the middle of the room. With an inscription at the bootom she couldnt read. "You must be my mom." She said to herself.

Watchin from high on one if the upper beams of the cabin, Bast (Bastet) watched one on her children enter and began to purr in happiness.

Nefriti ploped down on the bed. "I don't even know my powers...." She said. "I don't know my mother....." She complained to the cat goddess.

Upon further hearing what her daughter said Bast decided it was high time that her child met her. Quickly leaping from where she layed Bast landed gracefully on the tips of her toes as she landed before her startled child. "My dear kittten fret not about your powers, I shall tell you what you've inherrted from me though their will be some powers that you must discover for yourself. Also have you my dear girl figured out whom I am?" Bast said with smoothing voice

Nefriti literally jumped ten feet in the air. "Sorry, you startled me......and your bast right? My mother." She said curious about why her mother wanted to talk.

At the comment made by Nefriti pleased Bast somewhat, but enough that Bast emitted a slight purr. "I'm glad you figured that out my little Kitten. As far as why I wish to Talk with you. That is simple, for the last time I saw you was when you were not but a babe." Bast said as she sat down an part of a bed and motioned for Nefriti to do the same.

"Why do you wish to talk? About what?.....mom." She added as an afterthought. "Is it about powers?" She said trying to hide her exitedness.

"I din't excatly abandon you, weather you knew it on not all cats will obey me and have alway kept an eye on you for me, since it is my job as one of the two royal protected to our Pharoh Ra." Bast said sampethicaly then continued. "All children of the us Egyption Divinities are in blunt magicians, sorcers, sorceress, mages, or magi. All of my children happen to be magis. As far as your powers go. You must discove the element, and form of magic on your own. You can also command any type of cat and they will obey your command. Another thing all my little kitten including you have a unike perception of hearing, agility, nimbleness, flexibility, as well as the ability to fall or jump from great hights ans land safely unharmed on your feet." Bast finished to allow the information to sink in and for Nefriti to respond to it.

 "Wow." That was all Nefriti said for a while. Then she was hit by a strong headache. 'Help' She was able to mouth as she began to black out. Before she compleatly blacked out she said, "Its powerful magic mom, dark magic." In a faint whisper of a voice.

"My Kitten this is for you. I contains all the information on our language, spells, rituals, weapon and tools, as well as our history. Use it well."
