Lynette jumped down from the shed she was sleeping on, and made her way down the street. She walked quietly and listened for anything. She looked down to her hand and checked her chainsaw. It was full of gasoline and the blade was covered in blood and gore. She then strapped the chainsaw to her back. She checked her boot knife and the knife at her waist. All good. She continued down the street, where she saw the remains of many people. All dead.
Unfortunately, They didn't stay dead. A few began to slowly get up and make their way to her. Not wanting to waste gasoline, Lynette grabbed her boot knife and killed the few that nearest to her. She rammed her knife to the hilt into the undeads' heads. She didn't bother with the one farther way. She just made her way down the street.
Lynette wasn't fazed by the zombies at all. The one thing she did hate was that she was all alone. Her family didn't make it when the zomies started to appear. Lynette didn't have any school friends, so she didn't care what happened to them.
"Stupid Zombies" She mumbled to herself. She stoppped when she heard a loud noise. Like metal being bent and then she heard an explosion. "Huh...?" She said as she made her way to one building and climbed to the roof. She made it on the roof intime to see a helicopter crash. "Isn't that at the hospital?" She asked herself. She climbed down from the roof and walked away. 'The people in the copter are probably all dead.' She thought to herself.

Lynette didn't waste anymore time, she left the building and made her way past houses and buildings. She looked for more supplies and some food and fresh water. She found a bakery with boarded up windows, the door was missing. Cautiously, She entered the building. It was empty, no zombies and moldy food in the display counter. She walked into the back of the bakery.
The kitchen was a wreck, shelves and other items were destroyed or scattered all over the place. Lynette searched the kitchen and found canned food, bottled water and what looked like a delivery bag for the bakery. She put the food and water in the bag and strapped it to her side. It was a little heavy, but it was worth carrying.
She walked outside and saw the sun setting. "I better get to higher ground for the night." She mumbled to herself. She looked for a fire escape that wasn't broken or out of reach. Lynette found one, it was rusty but it was in one piece. She climbed to the roof. As she neared the edge of the building, she could hear gunshots and yelling. It was coming from close by.
Curiously, She hopped from one building to the next until she saw zombies running after three people. Lynette watched as two women and one guy fought against the horde of zombies. Then she watched as they climbed up on the building across from the building she was on.
The group rested, Lynette lost interest and sat down. She too was tired and soon she fell asleep. When she woke up, she noticed the group had gone. It was still dark, so Lynette decided to stay on the rooftops. She made her way across a few buildings when she saw the two women from the earlier group, there was no guy to be seen. 'Maybe he died..' she thought to herself. The women were making their way from building to building.

Lynette decided to exit the building she was on by going through it. She walked to the door that led to the inside of the building. She placed her head close to it and listened. It was silent. She slowly opened the door and waited a bit. When nothing came running at her, she decided it was safe enough. As she walked down the stairs to the ground floor, she grabed a small flashlight out of her boot and turned it on. She also grabbed her boot knife.
With knife and flashlight at the ready, she made her way down a hallway to get to the next staircase. 'This must have been an apartment building' she thought to herself. She passed doors that were no longer on the hinges of the doorways they belonged to. She passed each doorway cautiously, looking for any sign of zombies.
She had just stepped onto the next floor when she heard the tell-tale sounds of zombies. She crouched close to the floor and shined her light down the hallway. At the end of the hallway she saw two zombies that seemed to be fighting over a body part. They didn't seem to notice Lynette, so she decided not to waste energy by killing them. Slowly, she walked toward the staircase and the zombies. When Lynette was ten feet from the stairs, she turned her light off and slowly walked passed. She listened closely to where the zombies were. If they stopped moving, so did she.
Cautiously, she made her way down the stairs and tripped on what may have been the rest of the body the zombies were fighting over. The zombies noticed Lynette and desended down the stairs. Lynette jumped to her feet and turned her flashlight on to see the zombies. One was still at the stairs and the other was nearly infront of Lynette. She shoved her knife into its jaw, pulled the knife out and kicked it away. The second came at her fast, she dodged around it and stabbed in the back of the head. It fell with a loud thud.

All of a sudden zombies started to come out of everywhere. Lynette barely had time to get ready before the horde swarmed her. She pushed some zombies away, and made a break for the next staircase. instead of running down the stairs, Lynette jumped the railing and landed on her butt on a pile of dead bodies at the foot of the stairs. She was covered in blood and gore but she didn't have time to care. She ran for the front door as she heard the horde fall after her. She couldn't help but grin that her plan worked. "Stupid Zombies!" She laughed. She ran down the street as fast as she could looking for a building to hide in.
She found one, it looked like an office building. She grabbed her flashlight and walked in.She looked around and fell to the floor, tired and sore. She looked down at herself, her school uniform was torn and covered in blood. She looked like a zombie. 'Maybe I'll get shot and put out of my misery..' She thought to herself. Her ears were ringing, she couldn't hear anything. She flashed her light around the room. Filing cabinets were everywhere. Her light showed her a zombie head on the floor. 'Was that there a second ago?' she asked herself. She was still sitting on the ground when a second head fell from above somewhere. She looked up and saw a hole going all the way to the roof of the building. Her ears were still ringing and her panic was rising. She couldn't move, her legs were jelly.
