Okay everyone, this is something that is not going to be voted on, and it will not be removed. I am sick and tired of all the arguments and drama to a point I am just ready to end it all for me by leaving the guild completely.
However, I am going to be setting up a few laws within this Law Enforcement thread in which will make things fair for everyone.
Law 1 - Five Enforcers:
In maximum there will only ever be a maximum of five enforcers of the laws in this guild. All crew members of course will be in the request to help out as well in order to make sure that things will always run smoothly, but at any one time there will only be a maximum of five enforcers of these laws, in which four will be constantly switched out so that each person has an opportunity at the job, the captain being the only indefinite law enforcer. The only way a Captain will not be indefinite is if a vote is brought up with belief that he/she is a corrupt enforcer, in which a new person can be brought up as the new indefinite lead.
Law 2 - Fight Ending:
Arguments are things that helps us grow together, discussions, and the like, however this is not true when we create insults or verbally attack one another. This includes a member entering into a heated argument where it can easily be seen that they are becoming hostile. Such a thing is illegal from now on in the guild and each member will only be allowed 3 of these strikes, one from at least three of the five different enforcers for the time. From there a vote will be made as to what punishment is indeed necessary. The highest form of punishment from this is the demotion of crew/captain seat for a maximum of 3 weeks, in which after 3 weeks they will be allowed back into crew. If said member is found to break the law of insulting another person through chat or gaia, to even private message, and 3 more cases are found of the person, the next highest form of punishment is the removal of crew seat with no return unless the crew feels they can trust the person to follow the laws in which a vote will need to be made to return them to their crew seat.
Law 3 - Enforcer Switching:
The Enforcers are always going to be in groups of four (Five including the guild leader), in which all crew members will have a turn to be an Enforcer to make sure that the guild is kept fair and to make sure that no one, other than the guild leader (Unless it is voted to belief the guild leader has become corrupt, in which they will have to step down as the Enforcer leader as a new one is voted in.), is indefinitely an enforcer. A new enforcer will be brought in every 20 Days, with one being removed from their seat in order for an enforcer to take up and make sure to keep the peace within the guild.
Law 4 - Corruption of Enforcers:
Corruption will not be allowed, period! From the Guild Leader, and any of the crew members brought in to be Enforcers. The moment corruption is found, by the captain locating it in a crew member as an enforcer, said crew member will permanently (Unless a vote is made to allow them back in.) be removed from the list of crew to be an enforcer, the same goes for the Captain. Corruption works in many ways, and one of which would be to always go after one person simply because they do not personally like them, and thus wish to have them removed. If this type of corruption is found, the member being targeted by the corrupt enforcer will gain an apology from the head of the enforcement group, and have any findings from the corrupt member removed.
Enforcers will also be subject to following the laws more so than the others. If an enforcer is found to break any laws they will be subject to immediate removal of their seat for an extended time, not permanent, but they will have their next turn passed up.
Law 5 - Dropping of Charges:
People can make mistakes, even your guild leader. With this said there may be times that we go and find a conversation that will look hostile to us, in which we will mark as such, even though there may be a chance that it is not hostile. We already know the person being marked will try to fight it and say they were not hostile, and if three of the five agree that they do not see it as hostile, then the charges will be dropped.
This will also work if the other party member, the one we believed to be verbally assaulted speaks up and mentions that they did not, in any way, feel as if the person with the charges had been insulting or hostile with them. From there immediate drop of the charges will be made, no votes made.
Additional Laws - More laws for this can be made, but a vote must be brought in. Current laws however will not be able to be removed, only additional laws that are voted in can be voted off.
