New Aquintances
For all known existance, Equestria and its surrounding lands have been populated by animals and creatures of big and small, one thing common to all of them, moving on four legs. But one night, as one of the most violent thunderstorms in recorded history is pounding Equestria, the people of Ponyville, Canterlot and soon all over the land get to know about an unknown, yet non-hostile intrusion of a creature, that has never been seen roaming their grounds. This being turns out to be a human being. With two cultures meeting each other, will this encounter have positive or controversial consequences?

Starting post
The sky was blackened by dark storm clouds, and there seemed to be no ending for this violent storm, that had been going on for a few hours by now. A lightning could be seen or heard almost every five seconds, some of them coming horribly close to the Ponyville buildings, the shockwaves powerful enough to make the ground shake, with the pouring rain and winds blowing hard enough to knock trees down. It was almost a basic trophical typhoon, that had hit Equestria. One could just wait in home to wait for the storm to pass, and let Mother Nature have her raging till she was satisfied enough once again to let the sun shine in the blue sky.

The young white Alicorn stood in the rain, staring up at the sky quietly, with a grim look on her face."The weather ponies really outdid themselves." She says out loud. It would be a bad idea to fly in such weather, but her wings were aching for a quick flight. She spreads them, and takes flight, keeping close to the ground. She swoops up, and pushes through the clouds, and lands on one."Maybe this was a bad idea." She speaks to herself, sighing quietly. ((And if your wondering, no i'm not one of the princesses, my ponies name is Rainbow Cloud. Hope its okay to be an Alicorn))

(( In another guild Alicorns are not allowed because of their powers, considered as cheating. But as long as you know where the limit goes, I'm fine with it. ))
It most likely was a bad idea for Rainbow Cloud to go flying. As these storm clouds were charged with severe electric activity, anybody could have gotten struck by a lightning in near vicinity of them. Every now and then some of the clouds had lightnings flash inside them, while this whole typhoon seemed like something unnatural, almost as if this was the end of the world itself.

Rainbow Cloud felt a small shock, and she flew back down. The smell of singed mane filled the air for a moment, before the smell of rain carried it away."I was a hoof away from losing my tail." She mutters. ((I don't really plan on using my powers much))

Nobody knew it yet, but this was the evening something unexpected would happen in Equestria. As the storm kept raging on, there was something else happening, about a hundred miles North-East of Ponyville and Canterlot. In the altitude of 10'000 feet with about 300 miles per hour, flew a Bombardier Learjet 60, a small business jet, flown by a single man. His name was Cole Denver, a small time veteran of Afghanistan and Iraq, and now a treasure hunter from his profession, with music and flying planes as his hobby. Currently he was in bad situation. A moment ago, while flying in the clouds in zero visibility, his plane was struck by lightning. The left engine developed a compressor stall and was now on fire. So now, he had his hands full, while shutting down the damaged engine and making an emergency descent under the clouds.
"Ok... Engine one thrust lever, down. Engine one fuel injection, cut off. Engine one fire handle, pull. Looks like I have to ditch this thing..."

Rainbow Cloud stared in the distance, seeing some sort of smoke. She thought she was imagining it for a moment, but it was coming...closer? She galloped toward the smoke."Oh Celestia, whats going on?!" She called out, keeping her storm colored eyes on the smoke.

Cole thought, that this spot on the map would be nothing but plain storming ocean, but as he was taking the plane down, he could see land worth hundreads of miles. His eyes narrowed. This didn't seem right. How could there be land in a spot where it wasn't supposed to be? He knew he had gone south worth 200 miles off of his original course, but he couldn't have had gone THIS far.
"What is this place...? No matter what it is, I gotta get down and fast."
Finally he began the final glide as he headed the plane towards a large open field. Now gliding only ten to twenty feet off the ground, and still in speed of over 160 knots, Cole stared at the nearing grassy ground, as he quickly went through the pre-ditching checklist.
"Gear up and locked... Emergency lights on.. Shoulder seatbelt harness secured. Flaps 20..."
Cole pulled the thrust levers down to slow the aircraft speed down enough, before he braced himself for impact. The plane smashed onto the ground, causing Cole to knock his head against the instrument panels, losing consciousness.

Rainbow Cloud could see a small fireball exploding in the far horizon. Something bad had happened.

Dark Freeze Looked at this ball of fire. Since he was hugher in the sky, He dive bombed the area in front of Rainbow Cloud. "RC. Follow me." he said, continuing to acelerate, and then following the direction of the fireball.

Rainbow Cloud stared at him, before galloping ahead, and getting to the scene first. She stares at the machine curiously, before realizing something was inside. It seemed to be alive, but what was it? She grasped the collar of his shirt, and dragged him out of the wreckage."W-what is t-that?" She stares at the man, eyes wide with fear.

Dark Freeze opened the book in his bag, and flipped to the mythical creatures section. "Appearently, it's a Human." He looked it over. "Should we take it over to Zecora?"

The crash site was a scene of utter devastation. The Learjet had broken into hundreds of pieces of wreckage as it slammed to the ground. The only thing that had remained intact was the plane's nose and cockpit, where Cole was laying unconscious. The field looked like a warzone. Jet fuel that had leaked out from the plane's destroyed wings had ignited and there were small fires burning everywhere, although slowly being extinguished by the pouring rainstorm.

As Dark Freeze and Rainbow Cloud kept on negotiating, what to do with this yet alien creature known as human, Cole began to move, starting with his fingers lightly twitching to the beating of his heart. A moment later, the twitching was followed by his hand lightly moving, as if trying to grab onto something.

As his hand grabbed her hoof, Rainbow Cloud lets out a scared yelp, and jumps back suddenly."I-It touched me!" She scrapes her hoof violently in the wet grass.
