I figured if we need a place to introduce ourselves, this would be the place to do it. So come say hello!
I'm Julia, but most people just call me wingnut ('cause they forget my name). In my spare time, I... browse the 'internet' and play guitar. (If anyone needs chords, I'm more than willing to figure them out!) Sometimes I hit things with sticks or my hands in a rhythmic sort of way and pretend it's music, too. My favourite album is Maroon, and my favourite song is probably Brian Wilson. I find it very difficult to write about myself. And that's all I can think of.

My name is Randy, I have been a fan of BnL since Stunt and am a proud owner of all 9 albums and TVP's debut album (Steve's side project, of the uninformed). I don't have a favorite album, but my favorite songs are One Week, Too Little Too Late, Pinch Me, Maybe Katie, A, Brian Wilson, King Of Bedside Manor, Straw Hat and Old Dirty Hank, Another Postcard, Testing 1 2 3, One Little Slip, and The Old Apartment. Congrats to julia for getting this thing going, the fun has only begun, so let's crank up Gordon and party

Hello, I'm Tsukiko Kasuga... most just call me Kasuga. I've been obsessed with BnL since Stunt... I own most of their albums... I still need to get Born on a Pirate Ship, but it doesn't seem to exist in Montana. My favourite album is Everything To Everyone, and my favourite song is (at the moment) Yes! Yes!! Yes!!!

Hi everybody!!! I'm William a.k.a. Ulfin, and I am a BnL addict.
Like most fans in the United States, I first started liking them when Stunt was released. I was in sixth grade way back then!!! (dang, I feel old!) I can play about thirty-some BnL songs on guitar.
Favorite album: Maroon
Favorite song: Hidden Sun
Favorite song to play on guitar: Wrap Your Arms Around Me, Conventioneers, Really Don't Know, etc.

Hm... if we're going to go into guitar... my favourite songs to play are Brian Wilson and Powder Blue when playing solo, and It's All Been Done and Pinch Me when playing with friends. I don't know Wrap Your Arms Around Me yet... which means I'll have to figure it out sometime soon! twisted

The way I play it is rather simple, and I'm not sure if it's entirely right. I play F,C,G,C,G,F through the main parts of the song, and Am,C in the middle. (On many of the F's, you have to hammer on with your middle finger. If anyone wants it, I have it typed up and saved on my computer.
Just mail me!!!

Hi I'm Kalpini, and I've been a BNL fan since 93/94.
(Yes that's a long time and if you weren't born yet I really don't want to know. stare )
My favorite song is "What a good boy" but I have lots.
Favorite album Gordon because it was the first one I brought.
I live in the US and no one knew who BNL was before "One week" came out so it was always fun to walk into the record store and ask the clerk;
"Do you have any bare naked ladies?"
And that brief moment as they tried to decide if I was a pervert or not, and then they would check the computers and always seem surprise (maybe even disappointed xd ) that there was a band called that.

I'm Cassandra. My favourite album is Born on a Pirate Ship, and my favourite song is One Week. ((Of all the BNL stuff, anyway. My favourite artist is one that causes angry houswives to picket around the concert area. heart )) In my spare time I read, listen to music and go on Gaia. I'm 14. I love cartoons like 6teen and Carl2. I love Anime.

Hiiiiiiii I'm new.
Emily aka Shadowix, US fan that got hooked when her friend was like "Haha, I know all the words to that One Week song!" and I decided I needed to learn them too! So I got Stunt, and then E2E for Christmas, and then I was like "Quest!"
I'm convinced now that there's an album I haven't heard of/am missing because everyone keeps referencing songs I haven't heard like Powder Blue and stuff. xp I feel so out of the loop.
I posted in the favo(u)rites thread and uhm....Yeah. I really like the color orange. All my BnL CDs are in a little orange CD case devoted specifically to them. I play Barenaked for the Holidays entirely too loudly as soon as Thanksgiving is over. I like anime and I write lyrics. I wrote this song that I can literally hear Ed Robertson singing. If I could get him to sing it I might just die.
I like Fruit Roll-Ups.

Shadowix I'm convinced now that there's an album I haven't heard of/am missing because everyone keeps referencing songs I haven't heard like Powder Blue and stuff. xp I feel so out of the loop. Powder Blue is a b-side. It was left off Maroon (I think it's Maroon, anyway... anyone want to confirm this?). The songs that you keep hearing about are probably either b-sides or from the New Upcoming Album. 3nodding
