isnt it the number of hours for a class per credit hour im not sure if im right or not. like a set hour n the tuition is calculated from that?

I agree
At my school we have credits and if a class has (1) credit the class is one hour one day a week and will cost a certain amount of money. If a class says (2) credits it can either be 1 hour twice a week or 2 hours once a week and will cost slightly more then a (1) credit class.
