The Christmas Invasion hit all over the world of Halloween, though most of the activity centered around Halloweentown. Eventually the invaders were cleared away, and taken back to Christmas. In the weeks following the event, it was reported that the Invasion, rather than being retaliation for the previous year, was in fact due to a strange mental illness that suddenly swept the world of Christmas. While political tensions were high, the previous invasion of Christmas along with the promise of various reparations have gone a long way to make this a singular inter-world incident.

Also in the news: a group of kidnappers posing as Boogeymen?! Scarelings are encouraged not to travel alone, and to always ask for ID before going anywhere with someone claiming to be a Boogeyman.

Any character, even if they didn't participate in the event itself or if they are enrolled afterward can use this event as a plot point for their character. They can be affected. They can claim to have fought in it (though please no "Gingerbread Men Slaughtered My Whole Family/Horrifically Maimed me so OMG ANGST AND WOE AND THE SWEARING OF VENGEANCE!!" - business ok. Seriously. Just no.)

Hunters: only those in Amityville saw Hunters in-person. Other hunter groups were traveling in golems while posing as boogeymen to capture young TiHers during all the violence and confusion.
