Nightmare was released in 2010. This album is dedicated to Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, who sadly, passed away on December 28, 2009. They began recording some songs before Jimmy passed, and in the album, it features Jimmy's vocals in the song "Fiction", which he wrote. Mike Portnoy ends up being their drummer in recording the album and for the remainder of 2010.

I like this album. It's not one of my favourite, favourites, but I still really like it.
'Welcome to the Family' is my favourite song off the album. I think Mike Portnoy did a great job on the album. I wish he had stayed :/

Aw. I like Nightmare, but it is a little mellow. But I can understand why it is. Omg yes Mike did a great job in Nightmare! I wish he had stayed too! I like him so much better! My favorite songs are Nightmare, Buried Alive, Natural Born Killer, So Far Away, God Hates Us, Fiction and Save Me.

i would say,
this is my fav. album in whole A7X's album
Yes, Mike Portnoy did a great job in this album.
In this album, they totally change the drumming style compare to previous album. Since mike is from Dream Theater who plays Technical and Progressive metal, which makes it more awesome. Just compare the drum line on on this album which is more badass to other album..
i would say, i really want mike to stay rather than aren ...
because mike brings the group to a whole new level.

Yeah I wish Mike stayed. I'm not a fan of arin :/ Mike's and Jimmy's drumming just sounds way better and almost the same.

I personally like this album. The main part of this album that I think sets it apart from their past albums is the dedication to the Rev. This just adds a more sentimental feel to most of the songs on there, fiction and so far away especially.
