Well I don't think I have posted in here ever. Well I think I did to explain what type of media I do. Well I'm going into my final semester of professional photography at school and for our final year we have to do 2 portfolios, my first one is plants and flowers. This is just some of the images, there were 10 in total. They were done with different techniques for lighting.

Thanks so much for the comment. You want to know the secret to that drop effect its quite simple. You go out to shoot in the morning after the rain has fallen =D. I didn't fake anything that is all natural, i just used a 60mm macro lens.

The first one and the blue glowing flower are beautiful.
The first one I was looking at and thinking, its black and white I never seen anyone do black and white. It pulls out a beauty that I've never seen before and want to try it.

But I've never tried getting a pic of water on a leave before, just the dew on the grass. cat_biggrin

Thanks a lot, originally I wasn't going to be doing leaves but then I saw the water drops and figured why not take this photo for fun, turns out that was the best idea I had. I also have the shot in color but it didn't have the same effect.

Probably b/c that what almost all photographer do. I know I would have it in color or go on Pisaca and play with the color.

I didn't do it because it is what most photographers do, I did it because the color one didn't give any punch or aw. And if you are a photographer or would like to become one I would suggest not using Pisaca, but maybe trying to get into using Adobe Lightroom, it is a great product and it is meant for photographers.
