A mysterious time where the world takes on a darker form, as well as making the colors of everything but those with the potential... off. Buildings change shape and become entire labyrinths in themselves. Streets become M.C. Escher styled pathways throughout this macabre world. Anyone without an awoken potential turns into an eerie coffin, and for the duration of the Dark Hour, are completely ignorant of its existence. Having the potential doesn't necessarily grant one a persona however. Some learn this fact well, but have their lives ended shortly after... those who don't make it out of one of the grisly labyrinths before the dark hour ends... remain in the dark hour, the 24 hours in-between the next dark hour are simply taken from them, as this waking nightmare never seems to end.
