Im really into photography and its become my passion and what i want to do in my future. Im currently using a nikon L100 which as far as digital cameras go is fantastic and i couldnt ask for better, but i really need to upgrade to a DSLR camera.
The issue is... Im essentially broke. Anyone have a suggestion for the best dslr cameras i can buy on a budget? Im willing to buy used if its from a trusted site.

Try looking for older (but not too old) models that have been discontinued. I can suggest the Canon Rebel XT or the Canon 40D.

Thanks for the advice. THe rebel xd looks pretty good to me, the 40D isnt out of my price range but its much more.
Anyone have any suggestions as far as nikons go? if i can id like to stick with them.

I have a Canon Rebel XT.
It essentially does everything a Rebel T1i does, except film live videos.
