This area is basically as it names states, a desert. It is known for being intensely hot here so that can't keep they cool tend to die of dehydration. The weather here does have its moments of warmth though.

Sougon walked across the sand of the desert island. "It's warm here. I was kind of expecting it to be burning hot." Sougon was worried at first that he would be over dressed because of the heat but he lucked out. "He looked around and noticed that it was only him there. "I guess, I must wait here alone." He pulled out a scroll and held it in his left hand.

 As she arrived in the steamy hot terrain, Misaki sighed and took a sip of water from a canteen. "Whew... I can't bear this heat," she said. "But good thing I put on sunblock before I went there."(1)

Sougon noticed the tsuchikage walk up holding a canteen. "Are you really that hot? I can help with that. Actually, I have a friend who can. Give me a second." Lustful Pride Sin. His eyes took the appearance of his Kekkei Genkai. He was not going to mess around, since he was dealing with a kage. He placed the scroll back in his robe and slammed his hand to the ground, "Lust Sin,Summoning Jutsu!" As he said those words he was covered in a huge cloud of smoke. As the smoke vanished, it revealed Mizu standing behind Sougon. "This is Mizu. Mizu the Tsuchikage is hot, be a gentlemen and help her with her delimma." Mizu roared, and while his mouth was still open he charged a large amount of water into it. Mizu aimed towards Misaki and fired and large pulsing blast of water that contained enough force to drill a crater into a mountain. Sougon watched carefully and with the power of his eyes he wouldn't miss anything and just in case the tsuchikage had a trick up her sleeve he made sure to be on his guard.

"I'd appreciate that," Misaki said, "but this one turns up the heat."She quickly weaved hand signs before calling out her defensive jutsu: "Earth Style: Mud Wall!"A wall of earth rose up from the sandy ground, right in front of Misaki. It was good enough to block the water, thus defending her from the first strike. (2)

Mizu's water blast hit the mud wall the Tsuchikage made. The excess water just spread out along the wall and landed on the wall. Sougon spoke up, "I hope you won't stay on the defensive for ever." He made some hand signs. "Water Release:Water-Heavens Convergence." He stood there and watched as the water Mizu's attack left on the ground began to flow and churn. "Okay Mizu fire again. right towards the Mud Wall." Mizu roared and fired another blast of high pressurized water towards the Tsuchikage's mud wall. Sougon began running to the right so that he could see around the Mud wall and get a glimpse of the Tsuchikage.

Tsuchikage Misaki stood still, thinking of a strategy. Mizu's shooting the Mud Wall..., she thought. I will use an offense to counter Sougon and see if he can counter...(3)

He saw the Tsuchikage in his eye sight. He slid to a stop. Her hesitation will be her down fall. The water heavens convergence jutsu he activated earlier was still in effect. He motioned with his left hand and manipulated the water mizu had fired, around the mud wall. The blast of water was spilt in two and was now coming towards Misaki from her left and right. What will you do now Tsuchikage? Or will this be your end? He thought as he watched on.

Misaki Izumi Tsuchikage Misaki spotted the two clones heading toward her. Time for me to take evasive action! she thought. She jumped back, then weaved hand signs as quick as possible. Maybe this will help...(4)

Sougon was able to track her movements with his Pride Sin Eyes. The two blast of water simply turned to follow Misaki. The water blasts were closing in fast on her. The water was being manipulated by Sougon thanks to his jutsu from earlier. The water that was still churning in front of the mud wall quickly made its way around the mud wall and rapidly headed towards Sougon. I don't know what she's thinking but I won't be caught off guard. Mizu was no longer firing water since Sougon was now manipulating the water it had shout before. Mizu flew up and stopped in mid air.

Tsuchikage Another defense may help. I hope..., she thought. "Earth Style: Mud Wall!"Misaki raised another wall from the ground again to hold off the water blasts, then dashed towards Sougon. "You're a very impressive shinobi, Sougon," she said, "but I will never give up, no matter what it takes!"(5)

Sougon chuckled as she ran towards him, speaking of her resolve. "I here you talking but words mean nothing without action." He made one hand seal. "Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave." He punched the ground and a huge wave of water sprung up in front of him and made its way towards the Tsuchikage, that was heading towards him. He also noticed that Mizu wasn't doing well in this desert area so he sent him away. He stood up straight and watch the wave of water move towards the Tsuchikage. He smiled as the wave moved and his jutsu's effect ready to asist him.

Tsuchikage "!!"I have to counter it..., she thought, but I can't keep dodging his attacks!Misaki kept dashing toward Sougon and said to him: "I won't worry about your summoning creature now that you've just dismissed him. Observe one of my offense Earth-style jutsu!"She weaved hand signs before slamming her hand to the ground and calling out: "Earth Style: Earth-Shaking Palm!"The sandy ground soon turned to stony rubble, creating moderate yet intense vibrations in the process. "How's that for an attack?"(6)

The wave of water was still moving towards Misaki. Due to her attack the wave of water collided with the rocks that formed with the attack. "That's still defensive, from what I can tell." He felt the viabrations roll under his feet but since he had more than enough time to plant himself in that spot he was able to keep his balance. He raised a hand and manipulated the backside of the water to lift up and over the rocks. "Now this is an attack." The water flew towards Misaki and began to spin forming into a drill of water. The size of the drill of water was half the size of Misaki's body and due to the rapid spin of the drill the piercing power of the water was enough to tear through flesh.

Tsuchikage "Hmph. I'll show you an actual offense, then," Misaki said, weaving hand signs swiftly again. She was actually going for yet another defense, but how long would she keep up using defenses to protect herself? She had to use an offense at long last, but at what time she would use it? Misaki would have to think about it right away - the drilling water was about to strike her. (7)
