the dragonborn in Imperial custody, alongside Jarl Ulfric Stormcloak, Ralof, and a horse thief named Lokir. He was taken prisoner after running into an Imperial Army ambush while crossing the border to Skyrim. The prisoner caravan he was part of is destined for the small Empire stronghold of Helgen. After he gets off the cart, the guards begin calling out names, looking for members of the Stormcloaks. Eventually, he is ordered by an Imperial soldier named Hadvar to identify himself, Despite his lack of involvement with the Stormcloaks, the captain of the guard orders him to be executed. A Priestess of Arkay will start saying a prayer, but as soon as she mentions the eight divines a stormcloak will interrupt her, and the executions begin. Not long after the executions start, they call him forward. Following the direction given to you by the guards, he lies down on the execution block.
Right before the executioner can bring his halberd down on his neck, the dragon Alduin arrives and disrupts the execution. With the execution stopped and the guard in chaos,he takes the opportunity to escape custody, and with Ralof desperately yelling at him to get up.he Runs with Ralof towards the nearby tower, in which he will find several Stormcloak soldiers and Ulfric Stormcloak, who also escaped in the panic.he Climbs the stairs to where a Stormclock Soldier is trying to move some rubble blocking access to the rest of the tower. Alduin will blast a hole through the wall and use a shout to breathe fire into the tower. Ralof instructs him to jump out of the tower through the hole into a nearby building, with the promise that he will meet up with him when he can.

After jumping down and exiting the inn,he finds that Helgen has become heavily damaged in quite a short time, with many buildings ruined and burning.The defending Imperial soldiers are caught up in the battle and are too busy to take any notice of him. the dragonborn Runs into the street and encounters Hadvar, attempting to rush civilians to safety. One injured Nord, Torolf, unfortunately fails to escape the carnage, and is killed by the dragon's fire breath. After Alduin flies away to attack other targets, Hadvar tells rhe dragonborn to follow him if he wants to stay alive. He leads him towards Helgen Keep, a large Imperial fort in the village. At the entrance to the Keep, Ralof will catch up with them both. At this point the dragon born must choose whether to accompany Ralof or Hadvar.
the dragonborn chooses ralof, discovers the body of a dead Stormcloak, Gunjar, in a circular room immediately after entering the keep. After freeing dragonborn from his bindings, Ralof instructs him to recover the gear on Gunjar's body for his own use. While he equip hisself, Ralof examines the doors. He discovers one door is locked, and the other can't be opened from the side hes on. Luckily, two Imperial soldiers come through and open the door secured from the other side. Once they open the door, dragonborn is forced to kill them to recover the key to the other gate from their bodies.
Going through the door onto the now opened-up path, the dragon's activities above will cause the ceiling to fall, diverting dragonborn through a door on his left, where he discovers a store room with two Imperial Soldiers gathering supplies. After defeating the enemies, Ralof advises him to go through the barrels for any valuables he may obtain.

Continuing down, they both arrive at an interrogation room, where a battle between an Imperial torturer, his assistant, and some Stormcloak Soldiers is taking place, ralof and the dragonborn have to fight imperials.Ralof has a quick conversation with the surviving Stormcloaks, who will both choose to follow them . Ralof then points to a cage with several valuables inside it offering the dragonborn several lockpicks, and suggesting he pick the lock to get to the items.
they Continue down the corridor past some prison cells , and through another prison room, and they eventually enter a natural cave, filled with Imperial soldiers guarding it for General Tullius. After killing them,dragonborn finds a raised drawbridge obstructing his path.Ralof lower the bridge and shortly after dragon born cross' it, the passage behind them collapses. After some further exploring, they discover a Frostbite Spider nest. Once they defeat the spiders, head through a passage leading deeper into the caverns. Next, near an underground stream, they encounter a resting bear. Ralof advises the dragonborn to sneak past it, but he gives him a bow and some arrows in case he chose to ambush it. Afterwards,dragonborn follows Ralof and exit the cave through a crevice in the rock.
Leaving the dungeon,dragonborn sees the dragon flying off into the distance, towards the north, his companion recommend that they split up. He guides dragonborn to his home town of Riverwood, showing him both the ominous Bleak Falls Barrow and the the Guardian Stones along the way.
After arriving in the village,Ralof takes him to his sister, Gerdur, the owner of Riverwood's woodmill. After a lengthy conversation concerning the events at Helgen,Gerdur will ask dragonborn to warn Jarl Balgruuf the Greater in Whiterun of the dragon , and offers to let dragonborn stay at their home and offer some gifts of food and potions.

the dragonborn heads to whiterun and visits the bannered mare inn and asks "heard any rumors lately." then the inn keep says"there has been talk of a man in town drinking himself to death over losing his wife,some say he was part of the oblivion crisis 3 years ago when he helped the champion of cyradil along with other heroes who closed the gate."the dragonborn set out to find all of the heroes that might be in skyrim due to imperialism purges.he set out to find the mourning man first"where is he now"he asked"he owns a cozy little home here in whiterun just by the blacksmith"."thank u"he leaves and heads to the blacksmith and a man in a black robe walks from the house just past him and walks to Jorrvaskr and sits at the hall table and talks to some old man and dragonborn follows slowly.

"barkeep ill be back here every so often so dont rent out my room i have to go consult a mage on what i should do next the air has changed farewell"

i hope he is in today and not bumming about like he normally does" he passes a river and sees a pinky blob floating "... that's him! how dare he get like this" he ran toward the mass of meat"

"pinky heard a voice in the distance "oh its you come to float life away with me?"

pinky tensed up "i know they took betsy i was on my way to the mages collage until i got the urge to float away again i like skyrim lots and lots of rivers and streams"

why are we here?"the dragonborn said"we're here because i hid something here loaded with stuff maybe u can use.."josh said as he check by the mines for a box and took some stuff out and handed it to the dragonborn."shall we head to riften?check if someone knows anything of ur wife or the other heroes?"the dragonborn says..."anywhere is possible lets head to riften.."josh says as they leave for riften.
