Yoko entered the room walking up to the light to show her face. " i bring a scroll on a marriage between queen Kasumi and the new highlord." Yoko said giving the scroll to a guard to give to the councilmen. " a Marriage to the brother who killed her parents. not accept able! we sent all kings who are acceptable to her and she turned them all down, even threatening them!" a councilman said. " agreed, this new highlord should be brought for trial for the crimes his brother did!" another spoke. " he should be killed for what his brother has done!" " if she dose marry this man, she should be killed! its not acceptable!" council members said.

Vas'Kaa walked up the dais to the light, holding his helm in the crook of his left arm. "With all due respect, gentlemen. Our Highlord has saved your Queen on more than one occasion, and she has saved him from falling into the Abyss. Lord Ran'Ke has slain his own brother in righteous vengeance of those he has killed, putting their spirits to rest. He has risen to the mantle of the fabled Lightbringer of our dark land and his given his heart to your Queen. It is unjust for you to make judgements based on family history rather than on his own.", he said, his voice aggravated yet respectful.

Vas'Kaa growled in a low tone to himself at the sound of the vampire's name. "The Lightbringer will NOT fall to that abyssal slime, nor will he lose his love to that vampire! Vas'Kaa, glared at the men in shadows. "And our Highlord is of fire! A burning passion for whatever he undertakes lights his heart with an inferno you people will NEVER know. He WILL NOT fall to the abyssal, I say again, WILL NOT FALL! He loves your Queen more than the very essence that makes up his being. You are all too blind to see that the Highlord IS the perfect mate, bearing a child of FIRE and LIGHT!", he argued against the men.

Vas'Kaa pinched above his nose to relieve a growing headache. "Are you people really that self centered? You care more about your customs than the happiness of your own ruler!?", he shouted. Noxx'Zus's voice entered his mind, "Vas'Kaa, I fear that this is a fruitless endeavor. Unless the Highlord slays the Darklord, this council will never listen. Please return to Bel'tha'go, the Highlord is launching a manhunt for the abyssal and needs the guard captain.", the steward said mentally. Vas'Kaa glared up at the men in shadow, "This is not done. You will see in time that the Highlord is meant for the Queen of Fire, their love will become apparent to you whether you wish to accept it or not!", he growled before turning and storming out of the council hall. He returns his helmet to his head, lowing the intimidating visor and walking back to his horse.

Vas'Kaa climbed up onto his horse, the beasts glowing yellow eyes flaring as he pulls back on the reigns to turn it around. "Hya!", he shouted, pressing his heels into the Shadelands horse's sides, it's hooves thundering as Vas'Kaa rides hard for Bel'tha'go.

Ra'Sha followed Kasumi to the council hall, looking over his shoulder at Vas'Kaa. The guard captain holds out his arm in front of the templars with his fist clenched, a signal to halt. "Sir, I feel I should warn you that these men are not easily coerced. They seem to believe firmly that you are more of a harm than a help, because of your brother.", Vas'Kaa said to Ra'Sha, as he walked up along side. Ra'Sha stared at the ground for a second while he thought, then looked back to Vas'Kaa. "Well, I'll just have to be extra courteous then won't I.", he said with a smirk. Ra'Sha looked to Kasumi and took her hand in his, smiling warmly. "Well, let's do this.", he said softly before pushing the door open with his free hand and walking inside, Templars falling in behind them.
