[Role]
The backbone of the clan and the strength to protect even the smallest of members: the warriors. Their power is marveled at and their size impressive to any of the other ranks. Warriors are by the far the most physically fit of all the body types, able to wield weapons as large as their arm and at times much thicker. Their tails are armored with scale plates and can pack a wallop of a punch if the opponent is caught off-guard. Every bit of this gargoyle is a lethal weapon, from their heavily muscled legs and tails, to the ripping force of their arms and claws: literally able to tear something limb from limb if they see fit to do so. A gargoyle's strength is normally not something to laugh at, but a warrior's is normally twice as potent when it comes to raw power.
They start their training as children, learning to wield small wooden weapons and the basics of fighting. They're taught a code of honor, to protect the weak and challenge strength in order to better themselves and their peers. As adults they graduate to real steel and heavily practice combat finesse and strategy. A large part of being a warrior is learning to fight by themselves and with allies that will have their backs, as well as one on one combat or taking on a group of enemies at once. When they become full-fledged warriors, they'll have trained for various different combat situations, and will then be able to work with the mages to prepare for actual times of war.
A lone warrior is a dangerous foe, they're highly capable of taking care of themselves and have the clan's protection forefront in their minds. There aren't many that can stand up to their strength, but the forest holds many challenges and strange secrets... who knows what's really lurking out there?
