[Role]
It's not easy to be prepared for attacks from the Exiles clan or any pack lycans that have decided to wage war on the clan. In order to give themselves a heads-up if danger is brewing, the clan sends out its scouts to comb the area around the fortress and possibly send them deep into enemy territory to overhear secrets or plans. These gargoyles have to keep their cool when under pressure, and are by far the sleekest of all body types. Their wings are over-sized with heavy muscles at the shoulders and a thick leathery membrane that's every bit as flexible as they are. These are the only gargoyles that are capable of true flight, soaring high above the tree line and gliding silently from area to area. It's this ability that makes them the most efficient at scouting, as they're able to get out of a bad situation quickly and hide from sight by sticking to dense treetops.
When the clan shifts its priorities into suspicion for either the exiles clan or a particular group of lycans, they send scouts to recover any sort of useful information they can. Likewise, when the clan is on the move and on the offensive, they position scouts several miles ahead of the main body of warriors to look for trouble and to get an early warning if danger lies ahead. For this, a scout needs to be quick, silent, and highly perceptive lest he misses the trap altogether.
If caught alone a scout has a fair chance of fending for itself, but is by no means a warrior. They prefer to flee if given the chance, though an armed scout has patience on his side and a gargoyle's strength to guide his blade. All in all, they'll strike when the time is right, and retreat at opportune times.
Perk
Scouts are trained to be quick and efficient for better success while on patrol or missions. In combat, a scout uses its level head and precise timing to better strike at enemies.
Accurate Strike: Scouts are more likely to hit an opponent with an attack. Their miss chance is reduced by 1.
