coolest armor hands down is daedric....though...I like ebony...
however...nothing...and I mean nothing beats morrowind glass armor

I love Ebony armor, the Nightingale set and the dragon priest masks. I also like the Archmage robes but I wish they weren't so boring brown.

Just on looks alone, Ebony, Steel (normal steel, not plate), Daedric, and then Steel Plate in that order. (ya I pretty much dont use light LOL)

I've got to agree with your choices. When I first saw the glass armor I was stunned by its beauty. I can't believe the color! And even though it looks like heavy duty armor, it's light armor!
And orcish stuff just looks killer. I love it.
My main character wears glass armor and her husband (Vorstag) is going to wear orcish when I find him a full set. Right now he's wearing ebony, which I also love.

On both aesthetics and function My favorites are Nightingale Armour, shrouded Armour and Thieves guild Armour. on aesthetic grounds only I don't wear matching Armour often enough to say.

my fav armor Daedric armor is my first then ebony then nightingale armor but daedric is my most favorite xd #True Warriors dont use Magic(Restoration spells only exception) xd

I seriously love ebony armor, it looks amazing.
Deadric on the other hand, looks a little too
dark for the way I play, and personally I think it just looks
like they tried to make armor that looked so badass
that you could stare something to death.
EDIT: I'd like to add dawnguard heavy armor to my favorites.
Looks practical and protective.

Either the Nightingale Armor, Elven Armor, Daedric Armor, or the Vampire Royal Armor. I love capes and dramatic flair, so those three are right up my alley.

I didn't even know there was a vampire royal armor. One of the many things that come with the DLC. Actually though, I think my favorite may be a new armor type I discovered just today while playing further into that questline. As for the nature of the armor, well...I think those interested in Snow Elves are in for a big surprise, let's just say. whee
