I stand strong,
while the world breaks
as the rest of you die
and I'm bathed in hate
but I don't feel it or cry.

I simply stand strong.
But I won't stay for long.
Is it a dream or a nightmare?
Either way, it isn't fair.

I stand tall,
while the universe melts
as the rest of you lie
and I know what you felt
but I don't know why.

I simply stand tall.
'Coz no-one gets it all.
Did you wake up screaming?
I know there's no meaning.

I stand cool,
while the galaxy falls
as the rest of you cry
and I just watch it all
but I don't see the signs.

I simply stand cool.
And I'm nobody's fool.
I whisper truth while I'm faking.
There's no point to my waking.
