The Sylphid capital city. This is where the royal family officially resides, as well as the largest concentration of Sylphs in the world. While once it was the lone home to all Sylphs, but they have since spread out and set up settlements all over the world, the largest of which is located in Northern Russia.

The city hovers at an average of 38,000 feet, where the oxygen levels are one fourth of that in Capital City. There is an air bubble for those who are less suited to breathing the thinner air, as the Basileus must meet with all sorts of people. It is impossible to see the city from outside the bubble, but there is something about it that draws Sylphs to it; a Sylph who seeks the city will never become lost. The city tends to avoid floating above land, and is generally located over the Pacific Ocean.

There are few ways to get to the city; by flight or by portal.

Stepping out of the portal, the princess glances about the room with a look of distaste. It was rather large for a closet, half the size of the bedroom she had slept in the night before. The walls were a lovely shade of green, her favorite color. An indent on one of the longer walls had a silver bar from which hung a great variety of clothing. Turning to the other long wall, a line of modern white dressers with glass cases holding sparkling jewelry could be seen. In the very center of the small room was a large, circular ottoman of a light gray velvet. Moving to sit on it, the princess faces the portal that would bring her brother and her boyfriend. She knew that she had been sent through first so that she couldn't try and make a break for it, and now that she was here, she had little intention of leaving poor Andrew to the mercy of her brothers. Looking quite unhappy, Rina's hands moved to rest in her lap as she waited as patiently as possible.

"Me? I'm Andrew Caliu."

Resisting a frown at his girlfriend's attempt to hide her emotions, he remained quiet as she crossed through. Truthfully, he might have believde her smile was genuine if he hadn't seen her eyes or heard her words, which seemed too calm when thinking of the current situation. After sparing a glance to Icarus, he quickly thanked the sylph for retrieving his bags before taking a step into the portal. Feeling glad, once again, that he wasn't hurt by the action, he continued with another step. Now through, Andrew moved until he would be out of the way of Icarus' own entrance. He looked around the closet, noticing just how large it was. Fit for a princess, he supposed, as it was decorated in her favorite color. After another moment, he noticed Rina, who finally appeared to give way to her unhappy expression.

User Image And I Don't Want The World To See Me,

Glancing up as Andrew emerged from the portal, she did her best to smile. "Welcome to my humble closet." she joked, standing from her seat on the ottoman. "Ridiculous, isn't it?" she moved to glance into one of the glass cases which held a silver necklace with matching earrings; the gems inset in the jewelry sparkled brilliantly, and there was little doubt that the jewelry held real diamonds. Turning around, she fits her hands casually into her pockets. It was obvious from her body language that was attempting to hide her discomfort. She was about to say something when her brother stepped through the portal as well, completing the trio.

In a much better mood than his sister, the male Sylph appeared in the room with Andrew's suitcase in hand. "Well, that went better than expected." now that Andrew was safely through, he didn't feel bad about admitting his concern. Glancing about the room, he takes in his sister's unhappy expression. He looked ready to say something, but in the end chose to keep it to himself. Turning to look at Andrew, he allowed himself a calm smile. "You will be staying in the room next door. We refer to it as the Blue Room." glancing at Rina, who looked quite puzzled, he answered her question before she could ask it. "Usually, that is where Rina's friend Mihael stays. However, he volunteered to stay in the Pink Room instead and spare you." he looked amused, crossing the closet and opening the folding doors with his free hand. On the other side was Rina's bedroom, which was not as huge or fancy as one might expect. It was actually rather simple, as the girl had spent very little time actually in it. Crossing the room to a door situated on the left wall, he pushed this open as well. Another bedroom was revealed, and he disappeared into this one a moment to drop off the suitcase. Peeking back into the room, his eyes settle on Rina who, by this time, had emerged from the closet. "I trust you remember how to get to the dining room?" his sister nodded, and he disappeared within the other bedroom once more. He would leave the two alone for now.

Glancing about her room with a restrained look of distaste, the princess turns to glance at Andrew. "At least you won't be too far away." this was the residential wing of the castle, so at most he would be two floors down. They were on the third story, the highest floor one could access without official business. Not that one could get into the residential wing at all without permission. Glancing towards the door positioned opposite the one her brother had vanished behind, she eyes it carefully. "I'm quite surprised Mihael took the Pink Room. He used to stay over all the time, but he swore he'd never set foot in that girly mess." she smiled genuinely at the thought of her masculine friend trapped in the very feminine room. "He's trying to make a good impression. Such a suck up." she shook her head, trying to look amused.

Oh, What Did I Say?

"Me? I'm Andrew Caliu."

Managing a smile at her joke, Andrew was relieved to hear the princess speaking naturally, even if she wasn't the happiest person at the moment. "No, it's spacious." he countered, though he was sure she didn't think of it the same way. His gaze wandered across the shelves as Icarus crossed the portal, and the necromancer was immensely glad he hadn't settled on traditional jewelery for Rina's birthday gift. His eyes swept back to the sylphs as the prince spoke, and he managed a quick look into what would be his room before Ix disappeared behind the door.

"I would hate to get lost." Refacing the princess, he nodded at her comment, personally pleased that he wouldn't be very far from his girlfriend. "A good impression? Well, that's a start to make me happy." While as a guest he wouldn't complain about recieving a pink oriented room, it would never be his favorite. "Do I get to meet him?" he questioned as he took a few steps closer to Rina, feeling a bit odd talking from the closest's doorway. He was curious about Mihael, and knowing that he was a good friend to his girlfriend, Andrew would want to be the one making a good impression.

Choosing not to bother sitting, they would have to head towards the dining room quite soon, the princess gives her full attention to Andrew. "You could get lost for days in this place." she looked almost amused at the thought, as if imagining it. "I'm not surprised, really. There are two guest rooms between my own room and brothers'. Anastasia used to stay in the Pink Room, but it seems they didn't want to risk her being seen before the wedding date." she was glad that her boyfriend was happy, knowing that both her friend and her brother would want to make a good impression. At his question of meeting him, she looks surprised a moment before nodding. "Of course. He should be at dinner tonight." she suspected that Icarus had sent word ahead and that the entire household would be present for greetings. A good half of those would be first time meetings for herself as well, as she knew there were six younger siblings to meet. Hopefully, most of them would be too young to be angry with her for whatever reason. She also hoped that there would be no more. "Speaking of dinner, we should probably head in that general direction."

"Me? I'm Andrew Caliu."

Allowing Rina to lead the way out of the room, as he had no idea of which way would be the general way to the dinning hall, he responded to her statements. "You sound as if you want me to get lost." he said with a false sadness added to his voice. Although he could imagine it, realizing that the castle was a very large and grand place. It made sense that the bride would be stay away from unnecessary sightings before the big day. However, that caused a question to appear, and he asked it almost worriedly. "Will Ciarin be there?" He felt little concern at meeting a friend of his girlfriend compared to how he felt about meeting her brother. Glancing down to his attire, he hoped the dinner wouldn't be too formal; while he wasn't wearing jeans or a t-shirt, he hadn't put much thought into dressing this morning other than breifly deciding to wear black slacks and a deep purple button up shirt.

Exiting her room, she taps the door near the handle. A spark on the door knob appeared for only an instant before fading. Turning to Andrew with her innocent expression at his accusation. "I have no idea what you're talking about." she responded smoothly, glancing up and down the hall briefly. Glancing at her boyfriend, she nodded to his question. "Yes, of course. And Anastasia, I'm betting. I believe my father and his wife are dining with Ana's parents, so they won't be there." she clarified, knowing her future sister in law's parents would remain at their own house until the night before the actual wedding. "Just so you know, we're in the residential wing. The door right there" she pointed at the door closest to her's on the left"is the Blue Room, where you're staying. The door after that is Icarus's room." turning to face the right of the hall, she pointed at the first door beside hers. "That's the Pink Room. Next to that is Ciarin's room." turning around to face the other side of the wall, she waved a hand in uninterest. "I assume there are half siblings in some of these rooms, but I don't know for sure." turning back to face her boyfriend, she smiled gently. "Don't worry. If you get lost, people around here are quite friendly. They won't mind steering you in the right direction." she finished before turning to lead the way down the hall.

Before they had made it too far, a dark haired Sylph rounded the corner. He was quite tall, about as tall as Icarus, and built in the same manner. He was far from lanky, but it would be a poor use of words to describe him as stocky. His auburn bangs hung nearly in his eyes, and the rest of his hair was pulled back in a very short knob of a ponytail. His expression lit as he noticed the two in the hall, and Rina's spirits immediately lifted. "Mihael!" she called, taking off in his direction. It looked like she was about to hug him when the mood changed. Dropping down at the last second, she sweeps his legs out from under him. The taller Sylph his the ground with a loud 'thump', letting out a low and obviously unhappy tirade in Russian. "That's what you get for never visiting me." she stuck her tongue out at him childishly as he pulled himself to a sitting position. Mihael returned the gesture, choosing not to stand in case the princess decided to attack once more. Rina turned, a brighter smile on her face as she looked to Andrew. "Andrew, this is my best friend Mihael." she pat the other Sylph's head, moving back down the hall to lead her boyfriend to her friend.

"Me? I'm Andrew Caliu."

Meeting three new people that affected Rina's life greatly was bound to leave Andrew in a very nervous knot, but at the moment he he calm enough. After all, he'd earned two sylphs approval, or he wouldn't be here at all. He listened to her explanations, hoping that it wouldn't be forgotten too soon; his room was blue. Pink beside Rina, then Ciarin and other half siblings. Her last statement was comforting, and he was happy to believe that should be unable to find his way, there would be someone else to help. "Good. As long as they help, you won't enjoy the thought of me being lost." he said with a smile, already feeling better than when he'd first stepped through the portal.

After a few moments of walking, another person had rounded the corner, and he assumed it was safe to call him a sylph. Noticing that his companion was sprinting down the hall in much higher spirits, his first thought was that this was her closest friend, and her shout confirmed it. He stopped walking, unsure of what to do until Rina dropped the man; surprisingly, Andrew was far from shocked at the sight. "Of course." he mumbled, more to himself than anyone in particular. Moving toward Mihael with her guidance, he spoke lightly, acting on instinct rather than worry. "I'm so sorry to hear that." he teased, knowing that Rina's earlier display was only a sample of how the two treated each other. "It's great to meet you, Mihael." He regained a smile, offering a hand to help him up. "I'm Andrew, Rina's boyfriend."

Standing out of the way as Andrew assisted her friend to his feet, she grins at her boyfriend's comment. "Don't feel bad for him. He's a real jerk." her tone was teasing, obviously not intending to offend her friend. She was pleased that the two men seemed to get along alright. Hopefully, the meeting with her brother would go just as well.

Accepting the hand offered, the Sylph allows Andrew to pull him to his feet. "Thanks. It's great to finally meet you." brushing himself off, he glances at Rina with a smirk. "After letting you drag me around the world for fifty years, I fell behind in mage training. I'd rather not be stuck with kids half my age forever, you know." he complained, the smirk on his face giving away his false unhappiness. Slinging an arm over the girl, he ruffles her hair with his free hand. "Besides, I've seen you every day for the other ninety years. I could use a break." his tone was teasing as well, knowing he wouldn't be too horribly beaten with Andrew so close a hand.

"Me? I'm Andrew Caliu."

Stepping back to allow the sylph up, he almost frowned at the relaxed way he swung his arm around Rina. Taking a breath, he exhaled as he listened to Mihael speak; jealousy should be the last thing on his mind. "So, your studying to be a mage?" he asked, remembering that many sylphs did so, including Icarus. Awaiting his response, he allowed his gaze to wander briefly along the hallway, wondering if it would be wise to continue walking as they spoke. However, he knew little of where everything was, and trusted that the princess would know when to begin moving again.

Slipping out from beneath Mihael's arm, the princess reaches to take Andrew's hand and gently tug him down the hall. It was certainly time to get moving, knowing full well that her oldest brother would refuse to start the meal until their arrival. As little as she was looking forward to meeting her half siblings, it was a bit too soon to make a bad impression by holding up the evening meal. She had little doubt that her friend had come in search of them after her brother had appeared at the dinner table. As she suspected, Mihael followed along on Andrew's other side. At the mention of mages, she frowned but said nothing. Talk of mages seemed to be one subject that instantly made her unhappy.

Nodding to Andrew's question, the Sylph supposed he shouldn't be surprised that the other man understood the terminology. After all, he had been dating the princess for the past five years. "I hadn't really had much interest in it until the mage that had traveled with us before got married. But Rina will have to get back to work sooner or later, and she's going to need a mage." he smiled sympathetically at the princess's unhappy expression, as if he wasn't too keen on the idea. "Look on the bright side, Rin. Maybe we'll run into the yakuza again and you can get yo-" he stopped abruptly at the sharp glare cast his way, quickly glancing at Andrew. "Ah. I mean we can get those fancy noodle bowls you like." he corrected, turning to look straight ahead. Apparently, his friend hadn't told her boyfriend of their most dangerous ventures. This seemed to be odd, considering she quite liked to recount these tales, but maybe the human was the protective sort. That would be rather cute, actually. Especially when the princess was capable of dismantling them both in less than five minutes.

"Me? I'm Andrew Caliu."

Happy to follow Rina by hand, his glance switched between the princess and Mihael as he spoke. He frowned, shooting a glance to his girlfriend but remaining quiet about the abrupt change in the sentence. As much as he disliked not knowing what she was thinking, he chose not to question the sylphs directly. "Well, I'm sure you'll make a great mage." he complimented as they continued walking. He wasn't thrilled for their first meeting to fall into an awkward silence, so he continued lightly. "Is it safe to assume that she's always loved noodles?" He knew that it was under her category of favorite foods, and he had a few fond memories of eating ramen with her; but he'd never thought to wonder how long she'd like the food.

Smiling innocently as her boyfriend cast her a sharp glance, she made a mental note to throw something heavy at Mihael later. "I would tell you stories of my brave heroics, but you'd just say I was reckless." which would be true, but that wasn't the point. Choosing to ignore her friend rolling his eyes, adjusting her note to throwing something very heavy at him. Rina seemed to have relaxed slightly, as one third of the most important introductions went well. Leading their small band through a heavy door, she begins the descent to the bottom floor.

Flashing a grin at the other man's comment, the Sylph seems genuinely pleases that at least someone thought so. "Thanks. I'm hoping so." he wasn't totally confident in his abilities, but he supposed he wasn't totally hopeless. Mihael nodded at Andrew's question, looking amused now. "Ever since we went to Japan for the first time. That was all she would eat for lunch the whole time we were there." it seemed the male Sylph was more open to speaking about past adventures than Rina, but that was simply because he wasn't as easily embarrassed.

"Me? I'm Andrew Caliu."

Having no problem imagining a younger Rina, which he assumed was no less reckless than now, he nodded in agreement to her statement. "Yeah, I probably would." Turning his attention back to Mihael as he answered, the necromancer wasn't surprised by this knowledge. Once the princess found something she liked, it would be very difficult to ever change her mind until she pleased. "Sounds very much like her."
