Since I'm an idiot and know less than nothing I felt it would be prudent of me to begin a thread where I can ask all of the stupid comic related questions that I can conjure up. Besides, why create a seperate thread for each question when they can be posted here? I will get the ball rolling by asking...

Who in the hell is X 23? exclaim question exclaim question

A young homeless mutant that I believe was a product of Weapon X and is very similar to Wolverine. She appears in NYX.

That's an inference on my part. I have no idea how true it is.

Borrowed from x-23.org...

Sex: female
Age: approximately 14 years old
Place of Birth: Hydra laboratory (location unknown)
Hair: dark brown
Eyes: dark green
Family: none
Mutation: heightened senses, healing factor, two bone claws in each hand, one bone claw in each foot
X23 was born within the walls of an organization known as Hydra. Based on data Hydra had stolen from project Weapon X, Dr. Deborah Risman was attempting to create "the perfect weapon" but failed twenty-two times. Using Wolverine's DNA, she succeeded on her twenty-third try. Minus a few genetic variations, X23 is Wolverine's clone and is probably the closest thing he has to a living relative.

At the age of twelve years, X23 was put through the Weapon X process, although only her bone claws were laced with adamantium. Hydra's efforts to breed out emotion failed. What the organization had intended to be an unstoppable soldier lacking free will, had turned into a violently rebellious teenage girl cursed with uncontrollable anger. At some point during her life, X23 had become convinced that Wolverine was not only aware of her existence but somehow responsible for her ghastly upbringing. In an effort to get revenge, she infiltrated Xavier's Institute and attacked Wolverine. Luckily, he managed to talk some sense into her. The two formed sort of a truce afterward

Like we don't see enough Wolverine as it is. stare

Ok, new question..,

DC has a new series that came out today with issue one, Manhunter. Here's the lowdown...

Kate Spencer is a top federal prosecutor, one of the best lawyers in L.A., and the most driven woman alive. The prosecution of super-villains is her life's work — and the fact that they never go away for good has begun to torment her. When a case she's lost leads to the murder of innocents, Kate makes her move — a move that shocks her more than anyone. Breaking the laws she's upheld for so long, Kate raids an evidence locker of confiscated metahuman weaponry. Raging into the night, tracking the perp who's eluded justice in the courts, she delivers a long-overdue eye for an eye! She's found her true calling. She is the Manhunter. And she likes it!

The gal at my shop tells me that the opening arc in this series will somehow tie into Identity Crisis. Does anoyone have the 411 or any info at all on this?

I'm gonna guess that she attempts to prosecute whomever the mastermind in IC is and fails, thus inspiring her almighty wrath.

I have a question! *waves hand in air*

Can anyone possibly give me the entire chronology of "Supergirl?"
I know that's kind of sad since I'm representing her... but I wanted to ask so that I know. I have a vague idea... but with all the synthesizing of one Supergirl's spirit into another a few times (or just once?) it gets confusing.

Ah, and thanks ahead of time. wink
