Prufalas slung her pack over her shoulder accompanied by Mercury and Sasha, the first whom was to be dropped off with the Guardians. Aritoch, and Zion silently accompanied her fully armed. They knew it was time and were on their way to awaken the others.
Prufalas stopped in front of the guardians cave and spoke in draconic commanding it to open.
As it did she paid respects to Lexion and handed over Mercury.
"She to it that she is well cared for, and the pups will be raised as your own hatchlings. If I do not return, Be sure to dispense with Zanthos in its three sections as is decreed."
She bowed low, and knelt with her blade in the ground.
"Guardians of Maecer and Raspurion, watch over my pack and my heirs, may we fight honorably, and bring life back to the plagued lands that have given up their lives."
With that she turned and left as silently as she had come, but with one less, and moved from barracks to barracks retrieving her Elite.

Arlen and Aericel met with their mother. Arlen looked at his mate and his hand rested on her back. His blade was sheathed to his side and he seemed ready for what was to come. His emerald eyes were focused on his mother. Aericel stayed to his brother's side. His daggers were sheathed to his sides and his blade mounted on his back. The two seemed tense but they awaited their mother's orders. Abigar met with the others seemingly relaxed amongst everyone. He refused to let the tension reach him. His twin blades were sheathed at his sides and his amber eyes scanned quickly over the Elites.
Perseus was amongst the Elites. His daggers sheathed to his sides and his arms crossed over his chest. Victoria and Neyla stayed to his left. Victoria had her fans sheathed to her sides. Neyla seemed quite nervous but her friends helped calm her. Her pouch held her multiple needles, and strapped to her leg was her extendable staff. Lucilius arrived with the others and spotted Victoria quickly and came to her side awaiting orders like the rest.

Alexis came out of her building and went over to Arlen and Aericel, absentmindedly making sure that her sword belts were snug across her hips. She pulled out a pair of smooth black leather gloves and tugged them on. She stilled as the rest of the elites came around and placed her hands on her sword hilts, patiently waiting for Prufalas to address them.

Nexus watched from the shadows some distance away, longing to fight along side them. The wind picked up as his emotions seethed, and his heart throbbed with pain for his circumstance. He eyed Mercury, eyes swimming with tears that refused to fall. He steeled himself then, knowing the others could feel his presence as he followed, and wondering if they would make him suffer the inability to protect what he had lost. He so desired to die in service to the pack, fighting tooth and nail to defend his kin.

Visirus came to the emergency meeting his face was serious but softened a little as he saw his mate there as well only to harden up again as he awaited his orders. He knew this was his chance to finally serve the empire like he wanted to and was now his job. He would do so proudly and without any thought of failure.

Kitya opened the small satchel on her legs to make sure that her throwing needles where still there. She pulled her hair back from her face as her eyes looked around a little then closed letting out a deep breath. She opened her eyes again as she stood near Zion ready for the orders.

Prufalas drew her self upwards and removed her hood from her face and allowed her hair to blow freely across her cheeks in the night air. She looked to each of her sons and steeled her gaze showing no hint of emotion. Instead her eyes rested on that of her beta, and she nodded in appreciation of long loyalty at her side.
"Family, tonight we leave under the cloak of darkness, for sunlight will show our path for the human eyes that will be hunting for us. The Virus has spread in our direction, and at an alarming rate. Each of the princes are immune to the virus, as they have found that immunity through me somehow. We are working on an inoculation for the rest of you. But for the meantime, Zion, Aritoch, Arlen,Abigar, and Altilius you will fight in pairs of those who are not immune. You will be the front runners. Do not allow splatter to find its way to those who have no cover. I will always be first, as I can sense if it is airborne, if it is, the boys and I will proceed alone. The rest of you will have to destroy the area by fire. Any walking creatures that are appear to be dead, destroy the head, entirely. And not in wolf form unless you are immune. Any questions?"

Nexus stepped in the doorway, very aware that he wasn't fit to stand among the others. His face was wrought with telltale signs of pain and remorse. However he still held his strong bearing and noble demeanor, and despite his pained complexion his eyes were lit with determination. He lowered his head slightly, in a sign of respect for his Alpha. "Only one, my lady. The storm within calls me to your side this hour so I might fight, until death need be, to ensure the protection of all I hold dear." he summoned Procella to his right hand, the sword and his runic tattoos glowing softly. "Would you see the storm's fury at your back this night, so I might fight to protect the pack... to protect my mate?"

Visirus bowed slightly to Prufalas and said "My empress In my fire wolf form I am immune to the splatter and infection of the virus. Thus I shall follow in front of those that can be infected and behind you and your pups who cannot be. So I may destroy the areas with my fire." his face was serious it seemed like the only way to be able to destroy the infection quickly while taking out the areas as they came across. "In any case I can go in and destroy the area with my fire wolf form and then the rest can go in and take out the remaining survivors. It seems only logical to send one that can take out areas as a whole instead of risking the whole of the elite." he was not looking for fame or to show off and it was all over his face that his true intention was only to ensure none would be infected from this.

Alexis shook her head slowly. "No, you are still young Visirus, and therefore vulnerable. Besides, one person against a horde of enemies is just short of suicide." She stood calmly and relaxed, her body showing no signs of aggression or mocking. "While it may be true that you will be able to inflict a large amount of damage on the infected, the same can be true that as you tire, so they will be able to hurt you. It will be better to stay with us in the second wave. We will be able to coordinate our attacks better and protect each other better." Alexis made sure that Visirus could meet her eyes. "We are a pack and we work together. Besides," she spread her arm out to encompass the elite surrounding them. "We are the elite guard of Devoncroix. We are the bravest, the strongest, the most fearsome. We are always ready to lay our lives down for the pack." Her eyes glinted a steely blue. "The infected will not destroy us. We will destroy them."

Visirus did meet her eyes and nod his head. He knew she was right and that he worried to much. He was among the strongest of the pack now. He smiled and said "Yes. We shall destroy them."

Kitya looked around slowly as she let out a deep breath, "We are strong when we work together," she said standing up a little taller. She then looked towards her mate for a moment before looking around at the others. She let out a long deep breath ready to fight at her family's side.

Phaereon walked up and stood silently behind the the group only in Prufalas line of sight. "Once more unto the breach dear friends once more." He said quietly. His clothes boots with black pants, and a dark shirt. He wore two bandoleers with circular iron blades about him.
