you have to tell your friend to apply, send them a link to the guild home page, tell you friend to mention you in the application, that should handle it, and you'll get credit as long as they mention you.

Yes. and no invitation is ever random. It's usually because of something you said or posted in another forum. If you notice we have very few right wing bigots here.
