Personality:
Eager and focused: Empyrean loves to adventure and experience things. He is hard to keep out of hidden spots, harder still to reign in. Enthusiasm comes naturally to Empyrean and it takes very little to convince him to do something whether it might be perilous or not. He is too easily convinced to do anything and everything. When it comes to his own endeavours, he can go overboard a lot causing people to find him pushy or ignoring other’s wishes. Empyrean doesn't have much regard for activities outside of scientific discovery and little opinion on these, as a result, he is woeful at taking care of himself and struggles with conversations about other topics.

Unscrupulous: some Genome were built to push boundaries of war and like any lifeform, some just seem to not know what is acceptable and what isn’t. Rules, as they say, were made to be broken. Empyrean has trouble knowing when enough becomes too much and too far becomes ‘over the edge.’ This doesn’t mean he is incapable of following rules or taking orders, only that he has a very poor regard for rules and regulations and little care for how they affect him.

Scholarly: Empyrean is one of those people who, when faced with an unknown, goes to the books to reveal the secrets of the world. He lives for the careful application of method and theory, the experimentation of controlled substances and the discovery of new and interesting pursuits. This manifests in several ways, first, he likes to break things to see what is inside of them, secondly, he likes to read and listen—a lot. He is the sort of person who collects the wisdom of others. He is on a constant quest to see more, know more and explore more. This combines with the rest of his traits to mean basically; if it moves he wants to know how, if it lives he wants to know where, if it jumps he wants to know how high, if it tells stories he wants to hear them all, if it says stop asking questions he wants to know why. Empyrean loves terminology and vocabulary, he also enjoys debating and discovery. It makes him both frustrating and fun to be around.

Eye of the Storm: Empyrean gets into trouble. He is the sort of person who walks into a bar and suddenly the big hustler in a corner takes offence to the other guy and a brawl breaks out. If a toxic chemical spills and shuts down a lab for a day, guaranteed, Empyrean was around when it happened. While he might not be the direct cause of the commotion all the time, often he is. He has the uncanny knack of pressing the wrong button, standing on the wrong pressure plate or reading the wrong sentence of a book outloud and waking ancient cursed undead. This would be all well and good if he didn’t revel in this chaos around him; Empyrean seems to actually enjoy these outbursts and has the most fun when he is under pressure.
