As you may or may not know, Shogakakun Publications in Japan has teamed up with Nintendo again to release a huge 274-page 25th Anniversary guide, titled "Hyrule Historia", of the Legend of Zelda universe and its history, including what has been confirmed as the OFFICIAL TIMELINE for the entire series. We have come to know many things over the years as to how certain games fit in with each other and have been left to speculate over the rest. But now it seems that Nintendo has decided to let us in on the big secret, and share with us exactly how they have designed all of the Legend of Zelda installments are meant to sequence each other. In the interest of keeping the secret, well, secret (at least from those who do not wish to have it revealed to them), here is a Link (pun intended ;D) to Official Nintendo Magazine's report and outline of what has apparently been revealed as the official Legend of Zelda Timeline from Hyrule Historia. I am also linking it and not completely copying it in here because I am not 100% sure it is legit, yet. Hopefully we will get further confirmation soon. Check it out if you're interested; you're probably in for answers that are rather unexpected. Thoughts? I personally was surprised, especially with one particular aspect of it (easy to guess what), but find myself very satisfied. This timeline makes a lot of sense to me and I can see why it wasn't considered by fans before (god knows we've ripped the series apart time and time again to try and debunk the mystery that is this timeline lol). Leave it to Nintendo to throw us completely, but legitimately. Reactions are cool to write here, but put spoilers in white please. Thanks! And if you're interested, check out this website that has some preview scans of Hyrule Historia up already (Japanese scans).
