Because of the way the schedule is, the picks will be closed 30 minutes before the first game on Saturday.

Welcome to the Annual NFL Guild Pick of the Week 2011. We will be selecting the winners from 5 NFL games. After you have selected the winning team your choice is final. You must post the teams you are selecting here. Do not PM me your choices. If you don't post here who you are selecting I won't know. Remember that this guild event is free. We will keep a record of your wins and the person with the most wins or perhaps win percentage not only gets the bragging rights, but 5000 gold. Or maybe more if I can actually access the guild account...

The NFL Guild Pick of the Week will be closed 30 minutes before kickoff of the first game.

Normally I watch my 49ers in San Francisco, this year I go on the road and will support my team IN Seattle. My first away game as an NFL fan.

Oakland at Kansas City- The Chiefs were amazing against the Packers on Sunday, but despite their win they still had issues on offense. I can't say I'm confident in this team actually playing great the rest of the year, but against a Raiders team that has struggled and hickupped badly recently, and are 1 loss and a Broncos win away from loosing the division, I think Luck has run out on the Silver and black.
WINNER- KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

N.Y. Giants at N.Y. Jets- What a lucky break for the Giants, playing at home for an away game. Eli looked pretty bad on Sunday, but the G-men are still running strong in the playoff hunt. The Jets have a better track record in recent years when it comes to late season turn arounds, but two things the Jets have done to win games in the past, great Defense and a strong running game, they are doing neither.
WINNER- NEW YORK GIANTS

Philadelphia at Dallas- Despite their troubles, the Eagles can still win their division and make the playoffs, They need the Giants and Cowboys to lose out and they need to win out. The Cowboys got a little momentum going into this game with a big win over the Bucs, playing at home, and having extra time to prepare. But the Eagles have the late season swagger.
WINNER- PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

Chicago at Green Bay- The only thing that has me thinking about this one is that with Green Bay's loss to KC, and the injuries mounting up, can they maintain momentum moving forward? Well they are at home against a Bears team that will start Josh McCown at QB, I think that says it all.
WINNER- GREEN BAY PACKERS

Atlanta at New Orleans- The Saints are fighting for their division and possibly a first round bye. The Falcons are fighting to just earn a playoff spot. As a 49ers fan who wants so bad to see his team wrap up a first round by with a win and a Saints loss Monday, I'll go against my better judgement and put my faith in a Christmas miracle.
