She cuts herself,
That girl on the wall
All dressed up like she's going somewhere.
She cuts herself
Just deep enough to feel the pain,
but never enough to leave a scar.
She hurts herself,
That girl on the stairs,
All made up like somebody cares.
She hurts herself
Just enough to feel like crying,
but never enough to let it show.
She hates herself,
That girl on the floor,
All stood tall like she's somebody more.
She hates herself,
Just barely enough to slice away,
but never enough to end it all.
