Welcome to the Annual NFL Guild Pick of the Week 2011. We will be selecting the winners from 5 NFL games. After you have selected the winning team your choice is final. You must post the teams you are selecting here. Do not PM me your choices. If you don't post here who you are selecting I won't know. Remember that this guild event is free. We will keep a record of your wins and the person with the most wins or perhaps win percentage not only gets the bragging rights, but 5000 gold. Or maybe more if I can actually access the guild account...

The NFL Guild Pick of the Week will be closed 30 minutes before kickoff of the first game.

Playoff spots are filling up fast. Saints and Texans clinched, only 8 spots left.

Miami at Buffalo- Miami dropped a bad loss against the Eagles after playing so well the past 7 weeks. The loss cost Head Coach Sparano his job. But despite the loss of Tony, the Dolphins are playing much better football than the Bills recently.
WINNER- MIAMI DOLPHINS

Detroit at Oakland- The Raiders had the West in the palm of their hands, after two straight losses they now trail the Broncos. Detroit is playing .500 football, they really need to step up their game if they want to get one of those Wild card spots. Going in against a floundering Raiders team could be just want Detroit needs.
WINNER- DETROIT LIONS

N.Y. Jets at Philadelphia- The Eagles pulled a big upset last week with a huge win over a Miami team that has been playing good football, but for the Eagles its too little too late. The Jets on the other hand are still alive in the AFC playoff race, and can still make that run at a wild card spot.
WINNER- NEW YORK JETS

Baltimore at San Diego- The Chargers have won two straight, but unless they win out and the Broncos flub in their last three weeks, this team has no hope of a playoff birth. Baltimore is all BUT in the playoffs, and will be playing hard to try and stay ahead of a Pittsburgh team only half a game behind them. Speaking of...
WINNER- BALTIMORE RAVENS

Pittsburgh at San Francisco- Even with 11 days of rest to prepare for this game, the Steelers are coming into San Francisco very beat up and injured. Roethlisberger and Polamalu are questionable, Harrison is out, AND, Ravens head coach John has been talking to Brother Jim in San Francisco, A coach who has beaten the Steelers twice this year admitted he is helping Jim with a game plan to attack the Steelers, a 49ers win will not only help the 49ers in their quest for a first round bye, but the Ravens get some cushion in the AFC North race. Not making this up, John admitted this.
