Has anyone gotten into the beta yet, and if so, what are your opinions on the game so far?


I haven't gotten in on my steam account yet, but I've been playing on my friends extra account he applied for the beta on. (lucky guy got invited twice. Ended up selling 2 of his friend invites for like 100$ -_-)

Well so far, I am enjoying the game a lot, mainly because I played dota a long time ago and hon wasn't doing it for me. There are some annoying quirks in the game though like the crappy interface, annoying pathing, and the action delay. Though I know that the game is just in beta and will eventually have most of those issues worked out, if not all, by the time the game officially releases. Also a nice touch is having all of the heros have voice actors from valve related games. (plus there's some funny tf2 quotes like Sniper having a TF2 Sniper quote.)

I've actually never played LoL, so I wouldn't know. Though most of my friends that played LoL went to DOtA 2 and haven't looked back. As of right now DOtA isn't fully complete yet. (only about 60 of the original dota heroes in the game so far, features missing that should be there, and the issues i've stated in my last post.) Though since I don't see DOtA 2 getting released until around the spring time, it has plenty of time to fix all of the issues with it. We'll see though...
