Well, shooting games aren't my strong side, but I recently tried to play MW2 and I really enjoyed it (though I've never thought I'd do). At first, MW2 story was nothing special, but later, after Makarov shot Allen, it got really interesting. I'm looking forward to buying MW3. Is it a sequel to the story in MW2?

Well im not saying that its the same missions im just saying theres no diffrence like the graphics and makarov is back in one of the missions you can snipe him and he dies but when makarov shot allen wasnt that interesting the most intresting part for me is when ghost dies becouse ghost has done many things he was like my favorite character in the game so evrery one knows ghost but still, makarov when he shot allen i wouldn't say very intresting but still its soso

I waited in line for a couple hours to get MW3 and i also got Elite , im a veteran of FPS so as usual i was pumped to get it but now i'm rather dissapointed in it , Way to many Quickscopers , not a wide variety of guns , everytime you get used to something they release a patch to "Nerf" it in some way ,and on top of that Sledgehammer left way to many gaps in the Programming, For example i was about to use a Prestige token when a buddy joined a match and now i have -2 Prestige tokens ( im 3rd prestige and worked hard to get there ) and now i hear Sledge is reseting anyone who had that happen to them. Personally i dont care if they reset my level back to 1 i just dont want to lose my titles that i worked way to hard to get , If you've got the title Dropping crates you know what i mean lol.
scream GOD DAMN YOU SLEDGEHAMMER scream
I might just say Screw it and go back to halo

Um... In what mission do you snipe Makarov?? xd What game were you playing dude? lol.
It IS a direct sequel from MW2's story. It is pretty cool and has pretty tense and lots of "No way" moments. Which I don't want to spoil unless asked to. Even though its a sequel, Ramirez, Foley and Cpl. Dunn do not make their appearance in Mw3. Which kinda disappointed me a little bit, but I got over it. razz
Trust me when I say, if you found Makarov shooting Allen interesting, then Mw3's story will triple that. I know it almost made me cry at one point. xd
Know for a fact that you NEVER get to snipe Makarov. Plus it also answers questions left in previous games like what really happened after you snipe Zakhaev's arm off in Cod4, the nuke going off in the mission "Shock and Awe" and the moments leading up to the airport massacre in Mw2.
The graphics HAVE improved for a game that uses and was advertised that it runs on the very same engine as Mw2 with some improvements, so if people aren't informed and don't do the research on how the game will look, don't blame it on the game because the facts were there.
If you're a hardcore CoD fan, this is a must get. If you got bored with the stale gameplay, then maybe rent it first and get the feel for it. I for one, love the game entirely, sure I got bored of it a little in online play, but its a game that I'll find myself jumping back into without a doubt.

Personally, I cannot stand how there is a new Call of Duty game being pushed out every single year. It's obviously rushed and there aren't enough new gameplay elements to ever buy it imo. The story mode is always very fun to play through and it's the main, if not only, reason I'd consider buying MW3 when the price drops. Until then, it's really not worth it for me.
I don't like the CoD online either, but that's just my play-style. I prefer working as a team to complete an objective over the madness that is Call of Duty online. confused
Also, as a side note, if your PS3 is freezing then it's probably the fan in the back of the system. Just turn on your ceiling fan when you play. If that doesn't work, or if you have the slim which should be properly vented, then take the game back and tell them the problem.
