Personality: Silas likes doing things her way with the help of very few others. If something seems wrong, you will be certain to hear it from her. Naturally, elves are very practical, and she is no exception. They are also quite self-reliant. However, Silas is at times a bit too-self reliant and tries to take on too much responsibility at once. She is also very stubborn and logical. Offering help is not something to do around her unless she gives you orders.
Silas is also quite fun and loving, however. You will hardly ever see her without a drink or amusing object in hand unless she's feeling quite serious. Don't be surprised if she randomly gives you a warm hug, or rarely even a kiss (if she's drunk enough..). Her favorite things to do are dancing, singing, acting out short comedy skits, and playing dress-up. She keeps a stash of wigs and contact lenses in a box under her bed, but only few people know its true reason.
Bio: Along with her older sister, Silas was born into a family of small wealth and courage. Her father left while she was young while her mother tried preparing her for a life of small talk, pretty clothes, and high-class merriment. Not long before she discovered the
S.S. Odyssey, Silas began rebelling against her mother's wishes. The only thing her mother wanted was to gain more wealth for the family and to raise their social status, but to Silas it was boring, pointless, and flat-out stupid. Together with her friend Bren, the boy her mother forbid her to see, they vowed to run away together. To her, at the time, it was nothing more than a girlish fantasy, not the long life of adventure it would turn out to be.
Name: Bren Lyndale (Sometimes called Brenlyn because of how he pronounces with his accent)
Age: 60 (Human) 24 (Elven)Maturity: Adult
Personality: Bren is laid back and has a good sense of humor. He hardly gets mad at you, but if he does, watch out! He may not seem like it, but he knows quite a lot about pain and the best ways to make someone feel it. Bren doesn't like to get into confrontations, though. He prefers to go by logic rather than fists, swords, guns, or what have you. He seeks to make others happy and get on through life, and that's pretty much it.
Bio: As long as he can remember, Bren worked hard from dawn till sunset, hoping that some day things would change for the better. Fearing the gruesome punishments of his new parents (They were mountain people, after all) the only comfort he had in life was the somewhat soft bed he retired to at night and the weekends in the city where he might spot the little pointy-eared girl, Silas. (People with pointy ears were somewhat rare in this part of the Middle Kingdom, since it was closer to the mountains than most elves dared to go because of the colder climate.) Over the years the two children would find ways to spend time together, but as the two grew older the demands of their parents drove them apart. One day, the girl decided that she had enough of the city life, and that she wanted to just..."Float away..." she said. Bren wasn't really used to poetry, but right away he knew what she meant. It was decided, then. They would float away. Together.
*Due to the special diet the majority of the people eat in this world(And a lot of other health related factors), their lives are much longer than that of humans. There are also few diseases in this world because of their special nutrition. 22 is still extremely young in comparison to the average age of elves and other races, which ranges from 1 to 3 thousand. The life expectancy is even higher, nearing 7 to 9 thousand years, and sometimes even 10.
