I've been to sakura-con twice but since I've moved I go to dragoncon now, I've gone about 4 years in a row now. It's not a anime themed con but it does have some aspects of it and its still pretty fun all around.

i was dressed up as Cain Nightroad from trinity blood

I probably saw you and didn't even know it xd I was dressed as the doctor from doctor who(david tennent). That was my first year dressing up/cosplaying and I needed somthing realativly cheap and easy on short notice and It was awsome!

sometimes they are worth the trip but I think just about any con is awsome in its own right biggrin
