And normally this wouldn't be a problem. I mean hey, I've been playing Pokemon since I was 3-4 years old, and I have almost EVERY game that exists.... I'm only missing Pearl, and plan to buy it after I go to Japan and have extra money available.
So you might ask which version I have asked for... Well....
It's the very rare 1996 original Japanese release of Pokemon Green Version (which was not and never will be available under normal circumstances in the United States, where I kinda live).
Most people would say it isn't worth the money (used copies starting at about $35.00!!!), but I think playing it would be the ultimate experience for a hardcore fan such as myself. I also happen to be learning Japanese, so understanding the text and all wouldn't be that much of a problem, and would probably help me learn.
So do you think that it is worth the effort of trying to convince my mother to spend that much money on an old Pokemon game?
