It was the brink of WW3 a nuclear war. Few knew, but the U.S. government was making a large scale weapon to disable all nuclear weapons in the world. It worked, but there were major unpredicted side affects. The multiple bombs spread all over the world blew, making semi- clear yellow spheres that all formed together and covered the planet. It bloched out the sun and the atmosphere was unstable. While the spheres were expanding, whenever they touched someone they either dropped dead, were blown to nothing, or knocked out for several hours. The ones who survived, wich were only several thousand, optained higher human abilities, or strange powers. All more potent, weaker, or wether you got powers or not, or if you died, were all based on your genetic makeup. It was so different, that even twins could be together and when they got hit, one got knocked out while the other, got decimated. Groups started based on finding out what happened, how they still survived with no sun, surviving, also, figure out more about the extremely hostile monsters called Kagegutaika, who seemed to come out of nowhere and get worse every day, and last, stop all the chaos and reverse the bomb effects that happened on The Last Day when it went off. (You all get powers, but to a certain extent, more powerful than most, but not overkill. And they get stronger over time.)

"You, guys ready?" Joeseph asked his group of five people, they all said yes. They were heading into a cave blown into a building and part of the ground. There could have been good amounts of items to scavenge and bring back to camp. Oh, how much Joeseph loved spelunking. They were about 100 meters from the entrance when they heard this growl. They then went further to check it out. The group was 200 meters when the cave tunnel opened up. There were tons of monsters left and right. "Oh, dear lord." one of the others wispered. One looked like a dragon and spotted us. It then started bashing it's club-like tail and the cave was starting to collapse. "Runrunrun noooww." Joeseph yelled to his group and started running. A boulder was thrown by one of the beasts and squashed the teammate in the back. Theceiling in one part collapsed and killed the other two. It was just Joeseph and his best friend Miguel. The floor fell in and Miguel slipped and grabbed a hold of the edge. Joeseph ran back ad grabbed his friend's arm. "Leave me." Miguel yelled. Suddenly the tail of one of the creepier monsters peirced through his back and tore him away from Joeseph's grasp. The cave was collapsing in completely and Joeseph sprinted out just barely making. At least the nest was gone. He thought and walked home. When Joeseph got back to camp he went straight to his tent and didn't even think about telling what happened. He just decided to sit in his tent 'till tomorrow or someone convinced him to come out and say what happened.

Gosu was walking to the grocery store to see if it had any food left when she heard the growla of the monsters. "Oh great!" She then turned around and started to run as fast as she could but she could hear them getting closer. She then reached her hand into her bag and pulled out a piece and ate it. "I hope its poison this time." She then took a deep breathe and exhaled and spit out a big poisonous cloud. "I hope that that killed all of them" She ran all the way to her house and satyed their to rest for a little bit.

Kajura awoke to the sound of growling. She sat up and saw a creature that looked almost like a lizard, but completely black. It's barbed tail was clentched tightly around the neck of someone she didn't know. The man was struggling to get free, all of a sudden the man stopped struggling and the creature lay hm down in front of him. The creature sarted to eat the man, it picked him up by the legs and chewed him up, it had a eerie crunching some to it. The thing left and Kajura throw up. "What is happening?" She whispered to herself. She got up and looked out the window there was nothing out there, just bodies. Kajura walked ou of her house and decided to find a weapen of somesort. She found a largeish metal pole that was broken off on the end, she decied to use it. Out of the corner of her eye she saw something red, she turned around and saw a large fire that was a really far ways away. "How can I see this?" She thought. She started to walk over to the fire when a huge black thing attacked her and she stabbed it with her pole and black stuff exploded out of it's gut, it growled and clawed at her and she dodged it barely, and hit in the head, it was stunned for a second and she stabbed it in the eye. It died and she smiled, "Ha, stupid monster!" She yelled.

As Joeseph was moarning his second in command came in. "Sir, there are people with lots of guns coming our way." He said worryingly. "I want everyone equipped with all we got and we need to know if they are friendly. So, wait for them, and I want a scout team at the North Outpost so they can warn us before they get here. We must be ready to fight if they are hostile." Joeseph commanded and he went out of his tent to get a weapon and get to a high area to speak and shoot if he had to.

Gosu woke up and she was bored out of her mind "I hate being the only one that lives in this area everything is so boring." Gosu then walked over to her drawer and oulled out a deck of cards and started to play solitare. When she was done playing solitare she got up and looked for something to eat. When she opened the cupboards there wasnt that much food in it. "I better go and look for food." She then got ready and left her house to go find food.

Kajura again set out towards the bon fire. It turns out it accually wasn't huge, it was just a small fire set off by some kind of explosion. Kajura saw a red figure, she remembered in some nature T.V. show how snakes have heat-seaking eyes. She looked at a peice of broken glass, her eyes were deep red, almost blood colored, she assumed she had heat-seaking abilities. She waklked toward the glowing person, "Hey," Kajura said when close enough, "Who are you? Do you know what's going on?" Just then a pack of tmhe beasts ran toward them, Kajura gripped her pole, "Crap! More of these things?" She lightly swore under her breath, with an angry yell she jumped at the monsters and stabbed one in the face, she was repaid with a ferious strike by it's friend. Her back had a good cut on it, but she had too much addrenilen for that to do anything. She whacked the one behind her with the blunt side, it fell over howling. Kajura stabbed though about three with her spear, they died momuntarily, the beasts wouldn't die though, they were everywhere! 'Kill them all!' her enraged head was thinking. "You! Help me out!" The monsters were dying with every strike, Kajura was covered in her own and the monster's blood. A monster hit her directly in the face, warm blood trickled out, she repaid it with a stab to the head. Kajura ran to the girl and said, "Do you have any special powers? Or is it just me?"

Joseph was in the highest watch tower near the middle of the small fortress. "Oh dear God I hope this works out." he said barely audible. "Joseph, they are here." one of Joseph's men yelled plainly to him. "Thank you, Jackson." he yelled back. The trucks came in through the opened gate and rolled next to a group of armed men and women. A very tall and muscular stepped out of one of the trucks. What do you want?" Joeseph said in a commanding tone into the michrophone. The man said "Well, what do you think? We haven't seen so much food in weeks. Our scouts are just the best." This made Joeseph flinch. Then the man smiled, "ATTACK MEN." Then soldiers poured out of the trucks all with weaponry. Joeseph had not seen until now, but some of the trucks had machine gun nests on the trailers. They all lined up and fired. A rocket hit the watchtower and it fell over. Joeseph got knocked to the ground. The leader of all these people got covered in depris. Those men were heavily armed and Joeseph couldn't even help his people defend their home. "God help us all." He said to himself.

Gosu was walking when some girl came up to her and asked her "Do youknow whats going on and who are you?" Before Gosu could answer a group of monsters attacked them. It happened so fast to Gosu that she barely even had time to attack them with her poison or acid but when it was done the girl asked her "If she had any powers or if it was just her?" Gosu then said "I do have powers but it happened so quick to me that I really didnt have time to react and whats youre name? My name is Gosu Shouja."

"My name is Kajura Rei. Nice to meet you." Kajura said. "We should get going, the monsters will probaly come back. By the way, what exactly is your power?" Kajura clutched her back where the beast had slashed it, her addrenalun had run out. "AAAAAAHHHHH!" Kajura scrame. " Quick! Do you have anything likeca first-aid kit?" She passed out.

The girl named Jajura Rei asked her if she had any first aid kits but before she could answer her she passed out. "I have no clue what to do. I dont think i can carry her but ill try." Gosu tryied to pick her up and she suceeded in trying to pick her so she started to walk back to her house their should be a first aid kit.

Quickly the entire place was destroyed and everyone was either dead or had run off. The leader came up to Joeseph. Then, the man pulled out a rifle from some rubble and hit Joeseph in the head with the but. Everything quickly went black. When he woke up some blood was being drained out of him by a needle. Another poked him and he fell asleep. Joeseph then woke again on what felt like a boat. He got poked once more and again fell asleep. When the intoxicated person woke once again he heard voices and listened carefully. "Judging by his power he would be a good trade. These Japanese are always looking for good slaves." "Alright," another said, "we'll trade 'im." A women came in and drew some more blood. That was when e noticed his eyes were hurting and so was his head. "Wh where's my eye shield?" She muttered something about Joeseph closing his eyes and staying for awhile. He noticed that lights were on and he should probably close his eyes. That was when Joeseph then noticed he was tied to a chair. "Great." He thought and went to sleep.

Gosu finally arrived at her house where the first aid kit was she then set Kajura on the bed and went to go get the first aid kit. Gosu looked everywhere for the first aid but she couldnt find it at first she then started to freak out."I dont know where it is i cant find it!" Gosu then remembered where she put it. "I hate it when i put important things like this somewhere where i cant find it really fast." She then walked over to the pantry and found it in the way back of it . Then she walked to Kajura and located her wound and thwn started to treat it with what she had in her first aid kit.
