Kai is a monster. Not like in Beauty and the Beast, not like Wolverine either. Kai was born 1/3 human, 1/3 dragon, and 1/3 fox demon. When he was born, the instability of his power ruptured and overflowed, killing both his parents. A passerby heard the commotion and chanced upon him. For the next week, he was passed from person to person, each one repulsed by his strange appearance and origin. Since none where willing to take him in, he was adopted by a buddhist shrine cult. The problem was, he wasn't buddhist. He loved violence. He'd make any sort of excuse to get into a fight. When he was old enough, he left the shrine to live in the world. He started attending a school where fighting was an everyday thing. So the first thing he did, was start a fight with EVERYONE in his class. After defeating them all on the first day, his fame rapidly grew. Then he met X. X was the school's strongest fighter. His dragon blood boiled at the sight of him. He wanted to fight him, badly. Kai called X out after school at the end of the week. The two of them fought, and Kai lost. Shocked, he didn't even notice X leave. But he wasn't mad for it. In fact, he fell in love with X. Everyday, he ran around to find X and start a fight with him. With every loss, his feelings grew. Then one day, Kai was following X into the woods that surrounded the school, and saw the one thing he never expected: X was also a monster. But a different kind. X was the Dragon Prince in the guise of a human form. What will Kai do with this information? And who is going to tame whom? Kai couldn't help smirking as he stared at the pile of unconscious bodies. A sweep of the room showed that his other classmates, those that dare to challenge him for his appearance, were now cowering in fear. He was a bit disappointed that everything was settled so easily, but he couldn't deny the thrill he got from fighting uneven odds.
His lonesome self had just fought against five attackers and won. Though, it would not have been the first time he had had to do such a thing.
"What? Is that all you guys had? First you mock me for my appearance, challenge me to my face, and now your cower when I strike? Pathetic!"

Roko meanwhile was in another classroom down the hall way. It was a physics class and they were learning a new lesson. But he could sense the fight going on. And could also sense it was the new student.
The energy from the fight sent chills down his back. Excited chills. How he longed to be fighting instead of sitting here. The new student often challenged him. He actually had come to look forward to it. These humans didn't really give him a challenge, but the new guy actually presented a bit of a challenge. At least, he was fun to fight. But like with all humans, Roko had to be careful with even his white haired opponent. A pity the boy never held back, but Roko had to.

Kai had to tone it down as the teacher finally returned. She had fled when the students initially surrounded Kai, not able to handle a fight with those numbers. The school security surveyed the situation and found him standing in the middle. This did not look good for him.
The tri-brid mentally swore, not wanting to make a scene, lest he drew more attention than he could handle. If he did, the temple would be notified of his bad behavior and then...back in the cage. The cold hard cage that he hated so much, the one that he grew up in.
He was not going back to that!
Kai gave the teacher and security an apologetic bow. "I apologize for this scene I have created. However, I will not apologize for the fight as it was one I enjoyed, however pathetic. I'll endure any punishment willingly, but I can not guarantee that others will not start a fight with me. And I don't turn anyone down..."

(( You sig gives me ideas for an rp. It's cool. ))
Okay so Kai was not the only fight happy kid in the school and besides the security, other students from other classes had come to check things out. Some had been there to see the fight, others had arrived too late. But those there watched eagerly to see if Kai would take anyone else on. And some rushed to get even more students to see.
Teachers couldn't seem to stop these students from pulling kids from their classes. And this made it hard for Roko to resist going to see himself. And finally he couldn't anymore. So he quietly got up and left too.
"Oh really, Roko?" the teacher said in exasperation. If he left he would be the fifth student she had lost.
Roko paused and looked back at her. "But of course," he said. And that was that. The Prince walked out and headed for the small crowd outside the door. He towered over a most of them by a head so he could easily see into the room.
And he got there just in time to see Kai make his apology. So formal. Roko approved. A fighter should always be curtious, well, a warrior should at least when not fighting. Like the other students he watched to see what would happen next.
"You're going to have to start to. This much illegal fighting isn't allowed," said one male teacher. He was one of the teachers in charge of one of the many fight clubs in the school. This was a school that encouraged fighting, but here were illegal fights and legal fights.
Legal fights were school sanctioned or happened in one of the school sanctioned fighting pits. Illegal fights happened in the halls or other parts of the school that were not school sanctioned fighting pits. And these were the fights that were punished. Most of the time. When you put this many fighters together scuffles were bound to break out before they got anywhere near one of the pits.
But you only got three free ones. Anymore illegal fights and you were punished. And when you broke the rule too many times and still didn't stop or try to stop after the punishments, you're parents were called and you were fined. And they could decide what to do with you and how the fine was to be paid.
The big man took Kai by the shoulder and steered him out of the room towards the principal's office. The other teachers worked on getting the injured students to the nurse's office. Kai had broken the rules so many times he would probably be fined soon. If not, his punishment was going to be sever.

Kai knew that his fights always drew in a crowd, it was something he had to learn how to live with when he came to this school. Rather, it made him all the more careful about what he did here. The fact that the temple sent him to a 'fight' school of all things made him jump for joy! The rules, however, threw a wrench in his plans. However, that wrench wasn't very big. Rather, he took it as a challenge, to see if he could abide by his life rules and the rules of this school's.
"Again, acknowledge the rules of this school and abide by them.Legal fighting, illegal fighting...whichever it may be. Whomever aims their fists at me, I will react by showing them their place. The classroom, however boring, is a place for learning. The battlefield is where we shed our blood, sweat, and tears." While his words were from the heart, he knew he would end up seeing the principal.
As he was escorted out of the classroom, he felt the presence of one he knew. Well, he knew they had been there for some time, but...he could not focus on him at the time. However, now, as he walked, he lifted his eyes and looked directly at Roko. He flashed him a look and a smirk, then he faced forward.

Roko grinned after the white haired human. That had been kind of cocky. Then he headed back to class. Kai would be back and probably ready for a fight.
The teachers took Kai straight to the principal's office. This wasn't the first time the woman had seen Kai since his enrollment . And she had the feeling this wouldn't be the last.
The woman sighed at seeing him. "Illegal fighting again, Kai? Didn't you learn anything from your last punishment?" she asked. The pricipal was a curvacious woman in her late thirties. She was still beautiful though. You had to wonder how she had come to be the prinipal of a fighting school.
She waved the other teachers away and waved at Kai to take a seat. First a talk and then punishment.

Kai politely greeted the principal as he saw her, watching as the other teachers were dismissed before he took his seat. He had seen her many times, and while, despite her looks, he was one of the few who weren't genuinely distracted by her physical allure. This was due to another factor that Kai didn't find particularly important to divulge to strangers, more importantly, strangers whom were weaker than him.
Getting back to business, firstly, he apologize for the uproar he started. Then, he began by honestly stating what had started the fight. "My presence in the class...is unwanted. A group of challenges surrounded my at my claiming, saying I am guilty of holding myself superior to them. Apparently, they have learned that I am not human and tried to use that against me. Either way, I never said I felt superior to the humans in this school. It is simply, skill-wise and in power, I am stronger. They are weaker than. But...whereas there are those weaker than you, there will always be someone better." He paused, sighing.
"However, my having been raised in a temple did rub off some. I try my best not to hold myself above what is truth. I was also not expecting for them to lash out as they did. A simple exchange of words became an exchange of fists. Next thing I know, I'm having to teach them a rough lesson." He looked up at the principal. "I didn't rough them up too badly. I just jarred their nerves a little..."

The pricipal was a fair woman and listened to his side of the story. But it didn't change much. He should have taken the fight out of the classroom and to one of the training pits. She knew that might be difficult and didn't mind if scuffles broke out along the way. As long as they got to a fighting pit before the real fight started everything would be fine.
"You're not entirely human Kai. You are part human though. Don't forget that," she said. She looked out the window, thinking. Kai's was a case she didn't see often. Of course she had been told what she would be teaching, in very unkind words, but she had been told. She didn't see Kai as the monks saw him. She preferred to judge her students differently than those who raised them. And in Kai she saw amazing potential.
"Kai, next time, I don't care of you have to fight a little along the way, but if you get in a positon like that again, get to a fighting pit. And then beat them properly," she said. She looked back at him for a moment and then opened a drawer. After rifiling through it she pulled out a yellow slip of paper. "Now for your punishment. For as long as it takes during school you will have a handicap. Only I may take it off after school before you leave. Then you will report to a training facility and train the non human parts of you to their fullest extent. Your limit per day is six hours. And you are not to fight at all unless in a training pit. And to make sure of this I will have another student monitor you. You will meet this student tomorrow," she said. She wrote as she spoke.
Then she took the yellow sheet of paper to a copier machine in the room and copied it. She tucked the original away in a filing cabinet and gave the copy to Kai. Then she went to a closet and dug around till she came out with a set of chains. "This will chain your strongest arm behind your back to your waist so you can't use it. So which is your strongest or favored arm, left or right?" she said. She walked over to him and stood in front of him. If she couldn't get him to stop fighting illegaly completly she'd at least limit what he could do. She didn't want to call the monks yet.

Kai always took notice when the principal was trying her best to be soft on him. She was one of the few...she was the only person he knew of that didn't go running to the monks whenever something went wrong. And he knew it would be wrong to take advantage of that. He really tried to be good, for her sake if anyone's. He supposed, if he hadn't lost his family at birth, she may be what having a trusted sister would be like. (He didn't say mother since he didn't think the principal looked that old.)
He listened attentively as she stated that he wasn't entirely human. It was fact he could not deny, nor was it one he tried to run from. Being partially a demon and a sacred beast was odd for current society. How he was conceived was still confusing in itself. A mystery that would never unfold. "It's...not something I ever want to forget. It makes me part of who I am. To deny it, would be to deny my existence, how painful it gets."
He broke the rules, so it was only natural he be punished. But the nature of the punishment itself sounded rather strange. He'd never heard of it, but...he would do it since he did break the rules. "Tomorrow, huh?" If she's making a student watch me...there's only a few I can think of that may be trust-worthy for the task...
When he saw the chain, his pupils shrunk with the remembrance of bad memories. Then he heard the purpose behind it and relaxed...a little bit. "A chain..." He hated chains. They were cold, binding, and to his demon-side, if made of purified iron, it would irritate his skin. "I'm right-hand dominant." He stood up and waited for her to put the chain on. He simply had to tell himself that...it was only while he was at school.

The principal didn't think he understood what she was trying to say completely, but there was time. Finally she moved to put the chain on,but paused before she did. "Are there any metals that you are allergic to? This chain is meant to lightly restrain not injure you. In fact it's pretty easy to snap in an emergency. It's just a reminder," she said.
Her files on her students were extensive, particularly one her five special students. The special students were people like Kai who were more than human, but needed a place to learn how to interact with humans. Sadly this school could only support five such students. The principal hoped one day the program would include more. But Kai didn't need to know who these other students were. It was private who was human and who was not.
Once he answered her she would put the proper chain on his right arm. "There. Done. And for today you are dismissed. I will see you after school," she said. And with that she went back to her previous work.
Even though she was human and didn't know much of non human creatures she still tried her best. She only knew what her questioning of both student and parent or guardian told her. The rest was her trying her best. So far she'd only met one or two others like Kai. And they were scattered by a few years. Kai was the only tri breed in the school currently.

Kai didn't even blink when the principal asked if there were any metals he was allergic to. He was very conscious of his weaknesses since he knew that many wouldn't hesitate to exploit them and give their selves an advantage. But still, if he were to keep quiet and end up with such a poisonous metal clasped around him... "Pure iron, or purified iron. Gives me a rather nasty rash if you get what I mean..."
He wondered at the information given to him about the chain's toughness. He didn't make any audible comment, tucking the information away in his head. Should an emergency strike, he'd at least be able to take care of himself.
"Dismissed, huh? Okay. Later ma'am." He opened the door and returned to his class. As he walked, though, he felt a strange exhaustion. This was the reason he always sleep in class after every fight. For some reason, he'd always get so drowsy. Then again, it was the only time he was quiet. So once he returned to class, he sat down and rested his head on his desk.
