Christine and Erik?

Christine and Raoul?

Sure we pity Erik and he has an amazing voice but does he really deserve Chistine? Have you ever thought about how Erik sort of used his knowledge of Christine's past to entrance her into 'loving' him? Does Christine really love this angel from her past?


Personally I think Erik and Christine are excellent together but have you ever looked at it that way?

Erik/Christine is a nice thought, but ultimately implausible. I personally don't think that Erik is the sort of man any girl would want to be married to or even connected strongly to--he is frightening, manipulative, and violent among other things. He does show human emotion at times, but those moments are few and far between. Even if anyone were married to him, they would be trapped in a socially stifling and strangling situation (yay for alliteration!), living far from most everyone. ...And this is all pending upon the belief that Christine actually loves Erik, which is a highly debated question in itself.

I think I had a point somewhere, but it got lost.

Raoul/Christine is the only way to go, I think.
