i got this recipe from xXxHolic! ^^ i've only made it once, but they came out good, according to my classmates (i didn't get the chance to try them), even though they were a little burnt.
be extra extra careful when frying if you don't have a deep fryer (and even if you do!), when i made these i ended up burning myself because of the oil (well, it was mainly my own stupidity at that time, but it's good advice anyway).


Sata Andagi (Okinawan Doughnuts)

¼ tsp salt
3 ½ tbsp baking powder
¾ cup milk
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
4 cups flour
¾ tsp vanilla
oil (for deep frying)

In a deep fryer or deep skillet, heat oil to 350° F. In a large bowl, beat wet ingredients. Sift dry ingredients. Add dry to wet, stir till dry is moist and dough is smooth. Drop teaspoonfulls into hot oil, fry untill golden brown and doughnuts rise to surface. Drain on paper towels.
