Do anybody else in this thread listen to Dubstep?
If so, have you given any thought into recording lyrics over Dubstep beats/songs?

The correct term of the Genre for that would be "Grime".
I plan on starting to get into that, soon.

Example : ....nevermind.
Was going to post an example of good Grime, but unfortunately, I can only find UK Grime, and it isn't all that good. Their most famous ones suck. But if you're interested still, might want to look up Skepta or JME. Eh...but yea, anyways.

I think I'll dust off my mic and record something on a Dubstep Beat for a good example.

I listen to dubstep and I have heard a bit of UK Grime with similar sentiments as yours about it. My gripe with dubstep is that I cannot find too much dubstep that I like, partially after hearing this one and partially because a lot of other songs sound like they are doing just about the same thing. Although I notice the differences between each song, I cannot see much differentiation between what others may attempt. And I'll be looking out for what you want to put through. Because, although I would not mind someone putting lyrics over dubstep music, I can already see a couple of conflicts with it.

Well, the type of dubstep I would be rapping over would be of songs for similar to this type of dubstep production :

Beethoven - "Moonlight Sonata" (Sound Remedy Remix)
Pretty Lights - "Finally Moving" (Shane Martz Remix)
Pretty Lights - "I Know The Truth"
The Shangri Las - "Remember" (Adventure Club Remix)

...which, these are actual songs I want to use.
