Welcome to the Annual NFL Guild Pick of the Week 2011. We will be selecting the winners from 5 NFL games. After you have selected the winning team your choice is final. You must post the teams you are selecting here. Do not PM me your choices. If you don't post here who you are selecting I won't know. Remember that this guild event is free. We will keep a record of your wins and the person with the most wins or perhaps win percentage not only gets the bragging rights, but 5000 gold. Or maybe more if I can actually access the guild account...

The NFL Guild Pick of the Week will be closed 30 minutes before kickoff of the first game.

Missed the 5-0 yet again last week, but I still one $260 on my pick six parlay last weekend, so at least I hit my mark somewhere.

Carolina at Indianapolis- I would say the Colts are thirsty for their first win and getting dangerously desperate, but leading up to the bye week they don't look like a team that is thirsty for that first win, they look like a beaten, broken team accepting defeat. Carolina has struggled in recent weeks, but look more capable of pulling off a win.
WINNER- CAROLINA PANTHERS

Tampa Bay at Tennessee- The Bucs have been struggling in recent weeks, but have been playing good, solid football overall still, and even came close to pulling off a huge upset over the Packers on Sunday. For the Titans, one moment they look like a playoff contender, the next they flub. Toughest pick of the weekend.
WINNER- TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

Chicago at Oakland- The loss of Jay Cutler for possibly the rest of the year will challenge the Bears and their shot at making the playoffs. The Raiders are at home, playing great under QB Palmer, and look like they are on the verge of running away with their division, If they win and Denver looses, I think it will really be the beginning of the end for the rest of the AFC West.
WINNER- OAKLAND RAIDERS

Pittsburgh at Kansas City- The Broncos release Kyle Orton, and already word is coming out that KC might pick him up to replace injured Matt Cassell. Regardless, after a huge loss to New England on Monday night, I don't see them rebounding to win against the Steelers.
WINNER- PITTSBURGH STEELERS

N.Y. Giants at New Orleans- The G men were in total control of their division, but loosing their last two games on what has become a difficult 6 game stretch gets brutal as they now go into New Orleans to play the NFC South leading Saints, who are well rested and coming off a bye week.
WINNER- NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

Recap- Panthers, Buccaneers, Raiders, Steelers, Saints

Thanksgiving day Picks- Lions, Cowboys, Ravens

Cam Newton and the Panthers
For some reason, I still have faith in CJ2K and the Titans
The Raiders without DMC are still better than the Bears without Cutler
Easy pick here: Steelers
I would say the Giants are a better pick, but I Eli is a mouth-breather... so Saints
