I got a place that is within my budget and such. I won't have internet for a bit until I find some that's kinda cheap..
About the place though-
2 bedroom 1 bath. All new carpeting. I might think to post pics later.. Right now it's totally empty, but I'm gonna be getting some things today. After the weekend I'll start moving my things in. ^_^

I might think to post pics later.. Right now it's totally empty, but I'm gonna be getting some things today. After the weekend I'll start moving my things in. ^_^ That's great! Can't wait to see the new place KT. I've been so wrapped up in crocheting gifts and reading books like they are going out of style. I want to get my own place. Right now my son and I are living with my mom while I am in school but, I really, really need to get my own place. Unfortunately CA is so darn expensive! It's really pulling on my brain what I should do after I get my AA. I wanted to transfer and get my BS but I'm thinking I might start dropping to p/t and attempt to look for work. Also, with the economy the way it has been, I don't think I will be finding much above minimum wage (which is definitely not sustainable for 2 people.)

I'm on minimum wage until December 29th when I get my 25 cent raise for the one year mark. I'm actually gonna upload new pics tonight that I took earlier. I got myself a little Christmas tree. x3

I got myself a little Christmas tree. x3 Aaah, yeah, it was much easier to get by on min wage when it was just me. 1 br places or even studios are reasonable but now I have my son and I need at least 2 br.... which is impossible with the high gas prices and rent here. My last 2 br apartment was 1095/mo, which is decent for this area. They were about to raise it to 1200 and I just did not have it. And hurray for a little xmas tree! I used to shy away from trees since I have an army of cats razz

I lucked out with this one.. 100 a week.

Kitteh Tig My place~If you can't view the pics, here is the tumblr post with some of the pics. x3 That's not bad at all! Something like that would go for about 1k here and min wage is at 8/hr... which someone could not make (once taxes come out) on their own.
