The guest rooms are single-bed abodes each sporting dark colored canopies and furniture. They're dimly lit by wall sconces over a small writing desk. [[When posting in this sub-forum, lead off your post with a colored + to denote which room you're in. The different colors simply mean characters aren't in the same area. The closer your + color is to another also signifies how close characters are. Ex : +Poster is no where near +Poster but is perhaps right next door from +Poster.]]

Thrice + No where near anyone... After thanking the guard kindly, Thrice watched as the door closed. As soon as it clicked shut, the young man was leaning heavily against the wall and panting. The mask dropped and shattered as he felt whatever healing magic the lord had used slip away. The 17 year old suddenly looked much older, his eyes hollow and his body sagging with wear. Slowly, he pushed from the wall and made his way to the bed.
His frail body thrummed with pain as Cassiol's special treatment began to take affect again. As if the first few layers of his skin were being pealed away and revealing the raw flesh beneath, Thrice suffered through another wave. The bitter feeling of finally being punished washed over him and drowned him in self-loathing and relief. It was glorious and horrific at the same time.
Thrice's body showed absolutely no harm aside from the bandage on his ankle. If it wasn't for the small bit of sweat marring his forehead and the panting, Thrice seemed completely healthy. The boy fell to the bed in a cascade of silk robes and golden hair. He rolled to his side, took his knuckle between his teeth and bit hard. Small teeth cut into flesh, but the pain in his finger drowned out the searing mess that swarmed his shaking body.
'But my Sight, it was heightened. The pain made me see,' Thrice thought to himself. He had no idea so much pain could aid in his Third Sight. It was something new and he was terribly curious as to what else he could see.
He could not try now though. No he needed to rest and keep his Third Eye closed for a while. The boy did not really sleep, but instead lay shaking on the bed, letting the pain drown out the rest of the world.

+ The last few days had been rather relieving for the young prince. After arriving at the Estate, Aleksander had gone off with Kyros and put back through his paces. He relearned obedience, loyalty, and devotion. It made the man wear a soft smile as he patrolled through the halls. For his life to finally not be in his own, clumsy hands again was liberating. It had been like this for the first many years working for Alistair, but ever since the lycans had come and proven just how inept the Ring Master was, the demon no longer had faith in the man's decisions and ability to direct. Aleks hadn't much cared for the anxiety that brought, suddenly having to second guess every order that came his way and thus every act he made. His reprieve came from Kassadin. The sky demon created a hierarchy he could depend on, even if that meant struggling against abuse and neglect. But Thrice... the little blonde forced him to still make choices. To be with the man that held his heart, Aleks was betraying his new master just like Alistair had him. It had trashed his confidence and reduced him to the mute shadow of a man he was when he stepped on the front lawn a week ago.
Now, the raven-haired prince moved through the corridors with purpose. His hair was tied high and the scant tendrils that didn't reach were still held back by the black cloth that had been tied over his unseeing eye. He also sported the Estate's uniform. Gone were the loose pants and bare chest. In their stead was a leather jerkin over a black tunic and wild-skin pants and thick boots. The belt that tied the ensemble together sported the crest of the Estate on its buckle. In his hands, Aleks carried a small platter of various cheeses and crackers along with an empty glass and a bottle of wine. He was on errand for Kryos to deliver a treat to his newest guest and then guard him 'til supper when he'd escort him to the Lord's private dining chamber.
Approaching the appointed door, Aleksander reached out to knock but remembered what Kryos had said, that the guest was tired from their session and might be sleeping so he shouldn't do anything that might disturb the guest but would need to leave the treat for him nonetheless. So, instead, Aleks gently pressed open the door and moved inside. The only light that filtered in was through a crack in the curtains which cast a musty glow through the room. The prince squinted as he closed the door behind himself, trying to make out the details of the chamber and where the guest was. He spied the table against the wall and moved to set the tray down before taking up his post at the door. With the food out of his hands, his senses were finally clear of the pungent odors and his first fresh breath brought a crease to his brow. That scent... Aleks turned to the bed where he heard soft but gasping breaths. The ruffles of cloth were unmistakable and the wreath of golden hair only reinforced the demon's thoughts.
"Thrice?"
The voice sounded like a much younger version of the man who had run away from the circus a week prior. Gone was the gravely tone and rough inflection. Kryos had been sure to rid him of his weighted words quickly when he arrived. Aleks stepped up to the bed and looked down at the sweat that beaded on his love's face. The glistening droplets only seemed to amplify the deep lines in the blonde's face and the dark rings around his eyes. He looked a bit like death, or rather, how Aleks figured death would look. The prince reached out slowly and brushed a strand of hair from Thrice's cheek. "What's happened to you, my love?"

Thrice + 'I had never expected Death to be so quick and silent,' Thrice thought to himself. The young man was sure he was dead, because that would be the only reason he could see and hear the angel that took the form and voice of his prince. His real prince. Yes, Death seemed plausible. Maybe the pain finally won out and the shock forced his body to shut down. It was possible, according to Cassiol.
But wait, this wasn't how he was supposed to die. Thrice had not seen his end this way. That end came in a very different way and he knew it would not be quiet or quick. Those thoughts aside, that meant that this was either a dream or was reality.
The blond fortune teller let his eyes flutter open and the hollow look was almost heart-wrenching. Thrice felt loss for so many things and he didn't know how to wear a mask anymore to hide the pain. In his mental fortress, his little hall of masks was covered in the shattered pieces of his many persona. Masks were what kept his heart safe. They kept his true feelings hidden. They kept his sight pure. Now they were gone and a small child was left behind, no longer a doll.
"Please, if this be a dream, let it never end and let me sleep eternally," Thrice whispered softly. For once his voice was clear and unrestrained. He was not a doll, but a soulful, wanting child that needed to feel the love he had found in a garden so long ago.
"And if I never wake, I pray that someone will tell my sweet prince that he will always have my heart; unchained, unbound, no longer hidden by any mask or card," Thrice promised softly. This was more than he usually said in a week, not counting fortune telling sessions. Without hesitation he bared his soul for what he believed to be a dream.
Thrice wasn't sure, but for a moment the pain slid away. He felt the strangest peace flow over his body and he gave a truly serene smile. The same smile he gave the other man when they met near the rose-bushes and called him truly beautiful. His eyes closed and he took in a calm shuddering breath.
"You thought I was a woman then," he whispered with a soft chuckle.

+Aleks felt his heart clench when Thrice opened his eyes. On one hand, the raw emotion that welled in those blue orbs set fire to the prince's soul, but on the other, the pain and despair that was a part of it filled him with regret. He knew some of it was his fault; for storming out, for yelling, for not treating him with the love and respect he deserved. When he heard the clarion words drift up from the pale cracked lips of the fortune teller, he felt his smile return and he reached down for his frail hand.
Bringing the smaller appendage up, he kissed it softly. "You can tell me that yourself. Today, tomorrow, and everyday until our bones are laid beneath the earth." Aleks sat on the edge of the bed and leaned over the oracle. He couldn't stop the chuckle that escaped him with the blonde's last statement. "Hah... I did. The most gorgeous woman I'd ever laid eyes on. With hair like the sun and eyes deep and blue like the ocean. Got quite a surprise, didn't I?" He gently caressed Thrice's face as he spoke. "I was an idiot back then but I learned, even a man can be beautiful and worthy of my love. Can you forgive a foolish prince?"

Thrice + The world seemed to suddenly right itself and reality became more clear. Idle thoughts of dreams and fantasies were pushed away and replaced by clarity and realization. As warmth enveloped his hand and a soft kiss was placed upon his skin, Thrice felt the world shatter and then mend at the same time. The past and future became meaningless because the only thing that mattered was the present. Right here. Right now. With Aleks.
"Gods, yes. A thousand times yes," Thrice whispered without even needing to think. For one, he had no idea why the other was apologizing. Thrice knew that the blame for all of this should lay upon his own shoulders and he was still happy to take that blame and whatever punishment was allotted. Listening to the sweet voice and focusing on that soft words, the blond felt the pain and clouded hopelessness being pushed away.
"I just hope you can forgive me. You are my special prince, the one that stole my heart. So many things happened to you... because of me," the fortune teller murmured before he brought the strong hand to his chest. His heart was fluttering beneath the joined hands and he felt a strange sense of calm. Slowly, he tested his will power and sat up, still holding the prince's hand to his chest.
The light was sparked anew within the mystic's eyes. The flame roared to life and burned away the memories that were filled with darkness and pain. Nothing could snuff it ever again. As Thrice looked upon his Prince once again in his full glory, he couldn't help but think that Aleks had done a lot better without him. In just a couple of days he was back to his old self.
"Y-you look beautiful," Thrice whispered. Reaching up with a shaking hand and sliding them over the shining buttons of the uniform. God, he looked great and the young man knew he must look like hell. Suddenly an uncommon wave of shyness slid over him and he looked away, his blond hair covering his shamed face like a gold curtain.

Aleksander was relieved to hear Thrice's response. He'd had his doubts on whether or not the fortune teller would be able to forgive him for all the needless drama he'd caused. It had taken time, but Aleks had come to term with his weaknesses and figured out how to take back control of his life. With his new confidence, it seemed as if he whole body shone with the power it gave him. His shoulders were back and his head held high for the first time in years. The abuse he'd suffered at Alistair's hands had been washed away thanks to some rough discipline and tender care from Kryos. That man may be crazy and psychotic, but he knew how to change a person, dig into their deepest secrets and elicit whatever reaction he desired. Aleks would have become a general at the Estate if he hadn't only been there on training for the Circus. It had made Kryos sad to see him go but he would never turn his back to one of his favorite students.
Slowly, the demon wrapped his free arm around Thrice's frail body and held the lithe boy close. Aleks pressed his lips to the boy's forehead. "Nothing happened to me that I couldn't have prevented. None of the burden is yours to bear." Nuzzling against the golden locks he loved so much, Aleks lost himself in the faint flowery aroma that followed the teller wherever he went. Then, the boy's compliment of his looks brought a chuckle from the prince. "And yet I could never, in a million year, ever eclipse your radiance." He pressed another kiss the the blonde hair that spilled around the boy in his arms.
However, the initial shock of seeing Thrice at the Estate was starting to wear off and questions began to push their way to the front of Aleksander's mind. He knew Thrice's roll at the House of Sin, and he also knew Thrice was no fighter. It begged the question, why was he here? Surely Midnight hadn't thought that, just because he and Kassadin had been missing for a week, he could send his love off into the clutches of these barbarians? By the looks of the fortune teller, though, they might have already had their way with him and the blonde's downcast gaze didn't do much to dismiss his concerns. Keeping his fingers secured within Thrice's, he brought their entwined hands up to tilt the boy's chin up so that the demon could stare deep into the blue pools he longed for. His own expression was still one of excitement but there was a wrinkle between his eyes that told of his concern. "What are you doing here, love?"

Thrice + The words were sweet as honey and Thrice knew he could survive solely on those lovely phrases and compliments. However, he still kept his eyes hidden and his face buried against his prince's shoulder. The hand and kisses that slid through his hair made his heart flutter and the pain was begin to settle to the dull throb as his breathing calmed. The boy's heart beat in a slow rhythm and breaths became shallow and level. The chemical reactions became muted and the pain simmered to a very handle-able level.
When Aleks forced him to look up, he looked up at his strong demon and felt a soft blush float across his cheeks. He questioned his reason for being here and suddenly Thrice realized what this must have looked like. Thrice was a mess and he was in a house as a known host. Oh goodness... A soft weak chuckle left his lips.
"I'm here per Lord Kryos' request," Thrice whispered softly. Then he hurried to clarify so the prince did not think anything sinister. "He asked for a reading of his fortune. I believe he was curious and Midnight is a little bit of a pusher of my... talents. I performed a reading and I believe... I got carried away."
Thrice kept the plot and the Lord's fear from his prince. He did not want to tarnish the Lord's name nor make the prince fearful or paranoid.
The young man reached up with his free hand and slowly slid his hand over his forehead. He looked away again, still shy about his haggard appearance. The blush increased as he pressed closer to the warm chest that supported him. Thrice wanted to cry in joy, but he kept his emotions in check. Right now, he would just smile and reassure his love that he was happy.

Relief washed over the prince with Thrice's explanation. He had feared the worst but it turned out to be entirely innocent and he visibly relaxed with the news. Really, though, he should have known better. He'd bared his soul to Kryos and he trusted the manic tyrant to not take advantage of him like that. Thank goodness he was right! As Thrice brushed his hair to the side and curled up against his chest, Aleks couldn't help but smile. Seeing Thrice happy and bashful was almost too cute for the prince to handle and he hugged him tight. "It does my heart good to see you, Thrice. I missed you." Aleks had already said more in the past few minutes than he had in the past few months but it felt good. Expression was something he'd been denied by the Circus and Kassadin. To freely use it against was liberating.
A warmth began to grow in his stomach then, and he slipped both hands free to grasp Thrice's shoulders and move him back so he could once against gaze on his blushing partner. "I never treated you with the respect you deserved. I got caught up in Kass' notion of dolls rather than seeing you for the kindhearted person you really are. You only ever tried to make me happy and I scorned you for it." He placed a kiss on Thrice's cheek. "I want to spend the rest of my life repaying that debt, if you'll let me. I want to show you how I really feel and love you the way you deserve to be loved, starting now." Holding Thrice still, he leaned in again and pressed his lips delicately to the blonde's. The first kiss was gentle, like the first kiss between them should have been, and each following gained a degree of pressure, of passion. Laying with Thrice had always been either with a certain lycan in between or rushed with the fear of the third member returning, but this, this would be full of the tender caresses Aleks longed to bestow upon his golden angel.

Thrice + "Aleks, you did nothing of the ki-" Thrice had begun to argue, but lips were pressed against his own and suddenly the pesty blush flared upon his cheeks. Like a younger boy, he felt his heart flutter and his body warm as the prince kissed him. It was like something out of a fairy tale.
Normally, these things didn't faze the young oracle. He worked in a brothel and Kassadin has seen to it that they had their fair share of... dalliances, but this was very different. Aleks was different. The kiss was new and the meaning in the deepening passion was clear. There was love here. Truth and honesty was laced in every touch. The masks and vows of silence were shattered and the aftermath of falling remnants just added to the glow of their first true joining. For some reason this was a thousand times more special than anything before.
"Aleksander," Thrice let out a soft breath as the demon's name slid from his lips. Laying back on the bed, the young gypsy looked up at him, blushing still. It was odd to feel so shy, but for some reason Aleks brought this out of the normally very confident seer.
Reaching up, Thrice slid a soft hand over the man's cheek, admiring his new healthy appearance. The teller's third sight was closed, but he could still catch a small glimpse of the man's future. It was a tiny speck of hope and light. That meant something good to Thrice. Without the ability to stop it a few small tears trickled from his eyes and he opened his arms, inviting Aleks silently.

30 minutes later This was the peace Aleks had longed for and, for the first time since leaving his kingdom, he felt whole. He couldn't keep the smile from creeping across his face as he laid on his back, arms thrown to either side to let the air cool his heated skin. The past week had taught Aleksander a lot about himself, primarily about his feelings toward the petite blonde by his side. Ten years ago, the prince never would have even entertained the notion of laying with another male. He had been engaged to a lovely woman, after all, not to mention he was the eldest son of a royal family. It was his duty to someday produce an heir of his own to take over when he passed. His first attraction to Thrice had even been under the pretense that the boy was actually a girl. The fact that his affections didn't change when the oracle's gender had been revealed had worried the demon. Their whole relationship, or what could be loosely defined as a relationship, had been bizarre and confusing but Aleks had just gone with it. He'd known he cared for Thrice, that he wanted to be near him, but he wasn't sure if it had been love. At least he did now.
Tilting his head to the side, the prince glanced at the fortune teller. He had a glow about him, and it made the dark-haired man wrinkle his nose in mirth. "You're cute," he chuckled,* but as he did, he felt his eyes start to close. From the contentment and release, Aleks was on the verge of sleep. He turned his head the other way to face the wall but his smile never waned. Just as he was about to drape his arm over his eyes there came a knock at the door. A young voice drifted through the cracks. "Master Thrice, Sir Sortie, your presence is required in Lord Kryos' personal dining chamber in a quarter hours time. The mode of dress is formal. Master Thrice can find suitable clothing in the wardrobe. Good day." Right after the message, the soft padding of foot steps retreated. Aleks groaned behind his arm. "Nnnnnn, I dun' wanna..."*It was at this point that I couldn't think of anything except boobs and FUS RO DAH!

Thrice + Heaven. He was so sure he had reached it. This had to be paradise. This was a place full of true love and heat, both of which were directed to the little mystic. All the pain had been drowned out by the waves of pleasure and bliss. Thrice's voice was free and unrestrained and for the first time in many months, he was enjoying true love making. Tears of joy spilled when he had fallen over his peak and then in a mess of blond hair and pale limbs beside the prince.
As the two of them caught their breath and the prince called him cute, Thrice actually let out a giggle. He reached up and slowly moved his hand over the demon's chest admiring his well-toned and healthy muscles that were recovered after his stay in the castle.
When the two of them were called to dinner, he sat up slowly. The blond ran his fingers through his long hair before crawling over the other male and laying his head on the monarch's chest. Thrice's gold hair spilled over his shoulder as he listened to his lover's heart.
"I know my love, but I am a guest and I owe him the polite company," Thrice whispered softly before kissing the tender skin of his prince's chest. In the middle of the kiss however a darkness took over his vision.
The vision that flared before his eyes made him shudder. He gripped Alek's shoulder tightly before he came back to the present. The oracle then nuzzled the other male's chest softly, almost purring.
"Whatever happens next, my prince, know that no matter what, I am going with you. I wont be a painted doll anymore and I will write my own future. I choose you," Thrive promised softly, mentally shattering the canary cage that had been erected over his heart. He could not let the promise rule his life and destroy his happiness. One betrayal... He needed it to be free from all of this.
'I am sorry Kassadin, but I want to make my own future. I am not a pet to have,' Thrice thought sadly, 'I am a boy that wants true happiness.'
With those thoughts stored away he slowly began to sit up and look down over his lover with a secretive, suggestive smile. He leaned in and kissed him teasingly before sliding gracefully to his feet and heading for the shower.
"If you get up, you can join me in the shower," Thrice mentioned before heading into the large, tiled bathroom.((written on my cellphone. Forgive the typos.))

Aleks loved each little touch Thrice bestowed upon him, but it didn't make his eyes open. From the silken hair falling across his chest to the gentle kisses on his skin, the demon just let the sensations float into his sleep-like state. He didn't want to go to this silly dinner. Sure, as a guardsman he was required to do whatever his lord said, but it didn't mean he had to like it. Thrice's sudden admission of devotion, however, was enough to drive a stake into the coat tails of his waltz to dreamland. Aleks had thought the squeeze to his shoulder had been a gesture of affection but no... the blonde had seen something. Hidden behind his arm, the prince's smile waned. Kassadin... The past week had brought about many discussions on the lycan as well. He'd been prepared to talk Thrice through breaking away from the other man but it seemed the lithe oracle had done it on his own. The grim phrasing in which he had made his confession, though, made the prince worry.
Thrice's departure from the bed left Aleksander feeling a bit chill without the other's warmth so he instinctively rolled towards the wall and pulled the covers up over his naked form. Pulling the duvet tight under his chin, the demon buried his face into the pillow. Thrice's next words banished the clouds that had begun to envelope his mind and the itus began to set back in. The offer to join his love in the shower was tempting but, "Nnn, sleepy-time Aleks goes sleepy-time." While he was attempting to be playful, he wasn't kidding either. As his last word trailed off, he was out like a light.
