Post any tips or tricks about Skyrim youve found here.

whether or not anyone else saw it on IGN, there is a video showing how to increase your Smithing skill very fast. see the blacksmith in Whiterun, buy all the Iron Ingots and Leather Strips you can (both the regular shop keeper and the girl who smiths outside will have some to sell you). Use the forge just outside the shop and make as many Iron Daggers as you can, 4-6 is usually 1 level of Smithing. then you can sell the Iron Daggers back to the store keeper and repeat. I tried this today and went from level 22 Smithing to 78.

Thats how I did it, you can also buy petty soul gems and generic clothing for like 7 gold or so and just enchant those left and right at Dragonsreach castle in Whiterun.

i have upgraded Dragon Armor (heavy) but when looking at the stats, i think Daedric might still be better. the basic Daedric armor is stronger then the basic Dragon armor so theoretically, the upgraded version might be stronger too. now im hoping to get me some Daedric but i need Daedra Hearts.

Yeah, I figured that the Daedric armor was better, you find the hearts at Dagon's shrine after doing the quest in Dawnstar to get the Razor. Once you do the quest, when you go to the shrine, four Daedra will appear, two outside, then two inside. They respawn each week or month or something, plus there are several items inside the shrine that are valuable.

there is a quest you have to do for Azura where you must find her stolen star, a powerful artifact, and return it to her. when you do, you find the necromancer who stole it has locked himself inside the star and you have to enter it and kill him. there are 3 Dremora inside you can kill. i wish i took their hearts, but in Oblivion they were fairly useless so i didnt bother.

SPOILER

after you complete Azuras quest, you get to keep the Star. it works as a powerful, unlimited reusable Soul Gem

doing the quest the other way losses you a strong follower but nets you an unlimited black soul gem rather handy i think

Trick for Level 100 Speech

in Riften theres a bartender in the Black-Briar Meadery. ask him about his boss and the option will come up to persuade him. pick it and do it again. the option never goes away. you can continue to persuade him until you hit level 100. at level 100, you never have to pay people off and you can get away with pretty much anything. i killed 4 people and robbed them in Markarth, the guards came, and i told them it was ok. they let me go.

Trick for Level 100 Sneak

I havent tried this yet but i intend to. at the start of the game if you choose to flee with the Stormcloak you enter a cave with a bear. you can sneak by the sleeping bear, or attack it. nearby is a wall. if you sneak and walk into the wall, it still counts as sneaking by the bear. all you have to do is hold down the direction your facing and you can get to level 100 Sneak

There is a quest in Markarth, specifically around the Hall of the Dead there. When completed, you can become a Cannibal, giving you the ability to feed on any bodies you kill to quickly regenerate magic and health

Note for all: Daedric is better than Dragon armor. I have a game guide and checked it.

i found this out the HARD way which was upsetting. dragon parts are worth a lot of coin and to discover that the Daedric is better makes the Dragon useless. Im playing a new character now who uses light armor so ill see if the Light Dragon armor set is the best
