What are your thoughts on this song?
How it fits in with the rest of Floyd music?
Does it remind anyone else of Tropics or 70's movie set in New York?
Would Floyd be as famous now if all their music was like this song?

I think that San Tropez is a good song and so do my friends. They might be really famous still if all their songs were like that but then again maybe not. Overall I like the album Meddle they had a lot of good songs especially Echoes. User Image

I love Echoes. Most of my friends don't like how long some of their songs are, but I LOVE it.

The overall breakdown of Meddle is a little wierd, containing a variety of music styles. Pink Floyd country? Who'da thunk it? T'was a good CD though.

It's good but the main song on Meddle is Echoes which is my fav Pink Floyd song and FearLess was good as well so it's a good way to begin somthing that would become bigger. wink cool And I mean begin the Breakthrough Era where DSotM and WYWH came out wink
