A vampire x human group mansion role play is what I was thinking of making.

The setting will be a mansion where the vampires reside and a group of humans wander into the mansion and become trapped for one reason or another. I have been toying around with this idea as to why the vampires inhabit the mansion and how the humans will stay inside for the course of the role play: The vampires are sealed in the mansion by an old gypsy curse from one of them becoming involved years ago with a gypsy's daughter. They are unable to leave the property and so when the humans wander into the mansion they are trapped inside and made meals. And unless each human willingly accepts the vampires inside or something along those lines they will never be allowed to leave until that happens.

I am open to other ideas/suggestions but that was what I have so far. I was going to have the basic literary rules, a paragraph or two per post, two to three character slots for each vampire and human, a very simple character skeleton. Very simple and basic really. Any idea's/questions/comments on this particular idea? I have other rp ideas such as carnival and merman idea's I could list~

The circus idea would work one to two ways;

a. a circus entirely of non humans goes from town to town using the show to attract food and have to hide what they really are, very standard and normal.

b. Same premiss of the first but when the humans wander back after the show the freaks can ether decide to eat them, or turn them into monsters for new acts, as they go along they grow.

The general rp would be about the performers interacting with each other and getting meals while the humans either join or die and deal with their new freak companions and new selves.

The mermaid idea is also pretty standard;

An underwater city lies just off the coast of a tropical island that's home to many people and a vacation hotspot. Mermaids/Mermen have broken a big rule and have went to the island to see what its like and when they wash up on land they use some magic to grow legs and experience everything. Some people, either locals or vacationers find them and take care of them. But as time goes on, the mer-people get sick unless they return to the ocean. If they decide to stay with their humans they will die. And they have to wait years to return if they go back to the ocean to continue living.
