What is your first impressions of this game? Is it all you had hoped for it to be? (:
I myself cannot answer this question because I get the game tomorrow. But some lucky bastards get it a bit earlier then I.

So far, it's surpassed my expectations, it's way better than I would've imagined to be honest. I expected some of the things in it, but Skyrim really rocks. Right now I find myself as a level 10 Warrior Nord who crafts armor and stuff, I've killed about 4 or 5 dragons, and have gained a few Dragon shouts. It's way better than its predecessors in my opinion thus far.

I played for 16 hours straight with 2 breaks, each about 5 minutes. Im a level 14 Argonian, ive killed about 5 Dragons, owned 2 horses (a giant killed my first horse) and bought a house in Whiterun. ive only been to Whiterun and Riften for the Major Cities so far and I love to go hunting for the Dragons.
doing a ton of the Misc Quests, i love the new menus and features. Im mostly playing with a War Axe and either Shield or Flame spell depending on my opponent. my only real problem with the game is when i try to sell my merchandise and stores have limited money. I intentionally grab the most expensive loot I can to sell it until im maxed out on weight but some of these merchants can only buy 2 or 3 of my items before they have no money. do I have to wait over night for them to get money again? anyone know?
so far Whiterun is the best place to sell items because it has so many shops. I love the special kill animations with the War Axe, it really suits my characters personality (I named and modelled him after Nossirom, the Zaurask King from Dungeon siege: Legends of Aranna)

maybe its just me, but i always feel amused when i use my flame spell and burn an enemy to death and then search them and find like, grilled chicken or a baked potato. i always wonder if it was raw BEFORE i set them on fire

I've played for 32 hours, currently. I've got a level 27 dark elf.

the only problem im having right now (maybe someone can help me out) is that I got a bounty on a Dragon just a little South East of Riften up a mountain. the problem is as i ascend the mountain, along the path is a small stone pillar with some kind of gem thats hitting me with massive damage. 1 hit leaves me with about 5 hit points and thats before im even close to it. im going to try using the Whirlwind shout to run past it and see if that works but otherwise its impossible to get by.

been awhile since i could take myself away from skyrim being your own boss is so great i play while i work watching the store currently level 81 dark elf battle mage pretty much untouchable even on the master difficulty but i digress this has been the best game i've played in a long time

My computer copy doesnt work well because of steam, but my xbox copy works fine and i love the game, soooooo much detail
