Still in 1st! But after slipping the last few weeks my nemesis Nyuupuon has caught up to me and is only one game behind. Lets do this!

New Orleans at Atlanta- After a poor 2-3 start the Falcons have rattled off three straight wins to sit in second place in the NFC South. The Saints had a much needed rebound after loosing to the Rams, but overall they have dropped two of their last 4 games. I could see these teams splitting their season series with each other, and since Atlanta is the home team, I'll take them to win this first match up.
WINNER- ATLANTA FALCONS

Pittsburgh at Cincinnati- The Bengals are a surprise 6-2 and in a first place tie with the Ravens. The next two weeks will really show if they belong in the same class as the Ravens and Steelers. Their defense does, but their offense is still iffy regardless of how well Andy Dalton has been playing. The Steelers D don't care about their fines, they will go in there and pummel the rookie QB.
WINNER- PITTSBURGH STEELERS

Detroit at Chicago- The Bears have been waiting for this rematch, since loosing to Detroit they have won three straight, a win will put them in a tie for second with the Lions. Detroit rebounded from their two game slide at home by punishing Denver before their bye. After the game they still didn't seem satisfied in venting their frustrations, some even saying the game got boring and they wanted a tougher challenge. Detroit will win and get their first season sweep of the Bears for the first time... probably in my lifetime.
WINNER- DETROIT LIONS

New England at N.Y. Jets- Starting off the season at 5-1 people thought the Patriots were the team to beat in the AFC once again. But a poor defensive unit which includes the leagues worst pass defense, and a decline in offensive output has led to two straight losses and a very vulnerable look for this team. The Jets since loosing to the Patriots have won three straight including a huge divisional match against the Bill last week. A win Sunday will put them in sole possession of first in the East. I picked the Jets to win the east this year, this is the game that puts them ahead, maybe for good.
WINNER- NEW YORK JETS

Minnesota at Green Bay- In his first two starts at QB Christian Ponders is 1-1, he looks really good and comfortable in the pocket, and the one loss? A near upset over the undefeated Packers, playing the closest game out of every team against them. Green Bay has looked vulnerable on defense recently, giving up scores of 27 and 38 points in their last two games, including nearly blowing a 21 point lead in the 4th quarter against San Diego. But if the best way to beat Aaron Rodgers and the Packers offense is through a shoot out, I cannot pick the rookie in his third start to do it against the Pack, In Green Bay.
WINNER- GREEN BAY PACKERS

Recap- Falcons, Steelers, Lions, Jets, Packers
