About: I am the Amaturasu, also known as Amaterasu-Omikami (okami-Amaterasu) or Ohirume-no-muchi-no-kami. I am the light of earth, created from the left eye of Izanagi-no-Mikoto. I was then raised up to heaven to watch over the celestial plans. My children are the Emperors of Japan, the land of the rising sun. It is my job to bring light onto the earth and universe.
