Basically, this is the floor that the books available to check out of the library are. They are stacked on bookshelves, hundreds of them along the main floor. There are numerous stairwells on this floor, leading down to another floor. The exit to library island is open, and there is a front desk on library island, complete with a touch-screen monitor and keyboard, and various drawers built into the desk, to hold stamps, inkpads, check-out stamp cards to put in the cover of the book, and various objects.
The monitor has all the books recorded in library island, main floor and below, with the Dewey decimal system in the computer, used for finding out where books are on the floor, but the books must be checked out using the inkpads and stamps. There are also library carts for the librarians to use for re-shelving checked in books. There is also a PA system on this FLOOR ONLY.

The buzzing of an alarm clock roused Lorenzo from his slumber. He had been busy, the stack of books on the cart outside his cubicle of shelves were the last of a new stack ready to be sorted by volunteers. At the corner of his office though, was the first shipment of 'uniforms' for the group. Pretty realistic, made by a company in Mundus Magicus for their version of Hollywood. The weapons themselves were rather ingenious. Mocked up paintball guns firing .43 caliber paintballs firing from compressed air cylinders resembling actual brass. It was realistic enough and it had an acceptable full automatic rate.
There was no mention of any Covenant in the little thing, but it was said some new hologram device will be implemented during the festival. Lorenzo smiled, it was all that he could hope for. There will be a meeting later though with the middle schoolers, and in particular, Yuuna Akashi. She was the daughter of a professor on campus with magical abilities, so he had to make sure she was either well informed and won't rat on them, or well deceived.

Coming in from the grounds, Lexis looked around the large expanse of the inside of the library. Hm. Surely, this library surpassed many of the grander locations of the magic world, that much she could tell. One can wonder how many secrets the mages here hid down below. She thought to herself as she looked around, mostly passing the time. She had nothing else to do, other than guard things. And even that was dangerous for someone like her. Of all the fake jobs, a security guard...you were asking the girl with no sense of empathy or respect of others' rights to fight to keep people safe. Hah. It was very ironic actually.

- J E N A Y O - H A R A D R I M--------------------------Mirror, Mirror The last place he'd been of any significance was putting the girl he'd met to bed. In the days that followed, with everyone on trips, he'd spent most of his time reading, studying. And this is where he did most of his studying. Even now, he was reading over some obscure piece of literature, its information scattered with hints to what the book really was. He'd been to the island searching for something. There were spells akin to those he created; elemental fusions, and hidden types of magic that the world was not meant to know again. He hungered for it. While he was a good man at heart, mostly, he had a great hunger for the consumption of power and knowledge. He almost didn't notice someone had arrived. Even though he did notice in a way, it was just that they were there. He didn't seem to pay attention to who it was. He was prepared if there was an attack, but there didn't seem to be a hostile intent. So, for the moment? He kept on reading, not even looking up from his studying. A Memory isn't necessarily a reflection.

Lexis spotted a few here. A man reading up on something, and maybe a couple of workers in the library here and there working on book placements. She didn't care much at all about other people quite honestly. Though it was well hidden, on the outside Lexis seemed...agreeable. Maybe not the most outgoing friendly type, but she at least wasn't hostile or harsh towards people. Actually, she wasn't hostile or harsh even if she was fighting or harming someone. Those emotions didn't even register when she did. She glanced at Jenayo. Memories of faces and looks were practically a blur to her when it came to the magic world, but there was always the off-chance she'd seen him or encountered him there. He seemed to have an air like he'd at least been there and knew heavily of magic. At least, according to her alpha nose.

- J E N A Y O - H A R A D R I M--------------------------Mirror, Mirror It might even be the scent itself that was the problem. Jenayo used all kinds of magics to hide his true nature, but he really didn't have much for scent, considering most humans don't have noses near sensitive enough. Despite the fact he showed no features, probably because of a more advanced transformation magic, he had the scent of one of the beast folk, which obviously marked him from the magic world. His own sense of smell was not as sharp as say, a canine's or a dragon's, but it was still more sensitive than a human's. As he read, he shifted his gaze ever so subtly towards the new figure. He locked his own gaze with hers, briefly; it was his own form of greeting to someone he could tell was just a wee bit different. The problem was, he had no idea just how different. He wasn't about to use his eyes openly, and just creating an effect in the open would be bad. At least, for now. That reminded him. Wasn't the plan supposed to happen soon? There had been so many new faces. He almost had to wonder if any of the great nations had sent any operatives. That would be a bother. He wasn't worried, though. He'd been preparing. A Memory isn't necessarily a reflection.

xxxxMaybe she needed to be wanted What were the scents around? There was...a cat demon, somewhere nearby. Humans, magic, beastfolk, which was coming from the odd man reading nearby. Hm, more proof that he was a magic world man as well. Interesting. There were a few here from what she smelled anyway. It intrigued her, how many of them were here? Surely they were all here for different reasons though.
Didn't matter. She and Toshi had their own reason for being here and that was there only objective. To locate the beings here on this campus that were imperative to their mission. It was odd how they were all gathered in one location here. But convenient she supposed.

- J E N A Y O - H A R A D R I M--------------------------Mirror, Mirror For his part, he didn't bother to look at her long. He had a sort of feeling about her, but then again, most everything here wasn't what they seemed. It was just good business to assume at the very least, someone who carried themselves even marginally strongly would be someone else. He underestimated no one. He was a military operative after all. Still, he couldn't rightly recall ever seeing her personally. Something about her felt familiar, but he couldn't put a finger on what. Ah well. It would come in time. He knew several big names in both the Magic World and the Old World, but then again, he didn't know every name. Maybe that was the problem. He fixated on name, rather than appearance. Names after all, gave power. Her own scent had a strangeness, but he couldn't quite identify it. Well, it couldn't be helped. His type of beastfolk didn't have the intense sense of smell that the others did; what they gave up for that, they gained in mobility and strength, by far. Especially strength for most of his kind. Being an ape-type made it like that, though he was more mobility than pure power. A Memory isn't necessarily a reflection.

xxxxMaybe she needed to be wanted Toshi walked in, catching Lexis's attention. By now she was at one of the bookshelves, merely scanning through the pages with little interest. Toshi approached her, and she nodded. "What happened?" Toshi huffed. "The little brat didn't make it until the end of class. We had a sub for most of the time. Irritating little s**t." Toshi angrily muttered. Lexis raised a brow. Clearly Negi made a bad first impression on Toshi, but oh well. "Angry or not, we need to contact him at some point, and find out more. Or else this mission isn't going anywhere." She said quietly, thinking about it.

ф"One who does not know love will eternally be unable to gain true strength."ф▂▃▅▆█ Yue Ayase █▆▅▃▂ Yue walked into the main floor of the all too familiar library, setting her things by the front desk before turning and waiting for Nodoka to catch up. At least she felt a bit more comfortable in a setting like this. It was more Nodoka's comforting setting, really, but that didn't mean Yue didn't find some sort of solace in the unusually huge, magic-fueled library, which was just the small fact that she didn't realize up until a little while after actually realizing magic itself was real. Which she had to remember, actually, Nodoka didn't even know yet. It felt odd, how she sometimes teased Nodoka when the girl didn't want to talk about something potentially embarrassing, how keeping secrets from a friend wasn't very nice. Yet here she was keeping about two or three of them from her now. How ironic.

Nodoka came walking into the all familiar setting for her. The great Library Island of Mahora. There was no place even close to it for her. She let out a pleasant sigh as she walked towards where Yue was waiting for her. "S-Sorry for making you wait." Nodoka apologized as she gave a light bow of her head. She had been kinda moving slowly lately. She looked around the library once, sometimes this place seemed almost magical to her.
She looked back to Yue once more. "S-So about what I wanted to talk to you about ..." Nodoka started to say, sounding a little nervous about it. She sort of felt a little scared to bring it up again to Yue, but she had to right? "I-It's about the trip." Nodoka's expression while still trying to look serious began to mix with a look of sadness. "I-I'm sorry ... I couldn't help you ... I let you down." Nodoka still felt guilty for what happened. Her best friend had sought her help and she hadn't helped her in time. She had been to late.

She raised a brow as Nodoka brought up the trip, then apologized. Oh, that was...that was it. Being put on the stretcher, Yue vaguely recalled Nodoka's expression when leaving the inn.
Yue shook her head again, then sighed. "No, you didn't. It, had nothing to do with you. There was no gaurantee in the first place you would have been able to check your phone, or thought of it. I only acted on the first thing that came into my head." She said. Looking off to the side for a moment, Yue looked back at her. "It takes a lot for me to think you let me down, Nodoka, and I don't."

Nodoka bit her lip as she listened to Yue. What she said was true, to leave a message on a phone and hope someone would get it in time was a gamble. But there was a part of her that still felt it was her responsibility. However Yue's words did give her some comfort. She should have known better, of course it would take more than that. They weren't close friends for nothing. "Sorry. Thanks Yue." she spoke softly, apologizing for her apologizing earlier. She did tend to apologize a bit too much. She had been reminded just exactly how their friendship was.
"A-Are you alright though? Ever since the trip ... it's seemed like you've been bothered by something." That was the other thing Nodoka wanted to talk about. It was just about how she felt, it was about how Yue was acting. It was a no brainer to say something was wrong, but if Yue would share would be another thing. "I-If I can ask ... what happened?" Nodoka never really got an explanation of what happened, though she could assume she probably didn't want to retell it. At the same time however with how she was acting maybe she couldn't get it out.

ф"One who does not know love will eternally be unable to gain true strength."ф▂▃▅▆█ Yue Ayase █▆▅▃▂ Yue nodded, glad Nodoka understood. She looked at the ground for a moment. Tell her what happened? It wasn't like she wanted to relay everything. Mostly because half of it would have sounded really strange to Nodoka. The other half...would just scare the poor girl. It was enough to put Yue on edge, and she was harder to push than Nodoka was.
"Um..." She frowned a little bit and looked around. "You remember how at the castle I wanted to go because I wasn't really feeling well? I felt like I was being watched, or followed...likely both." She said. "So I went back and went to my room. I thought I'd be a little bit safer in there, but it turns out, whoever was following me had followed me back to the inn." Yue paused a moment. Make it vague? She had to. "She tried to attack me, so I ran out of the room and outside, I ended up in the forest when she started the fire there. So, I admit I started to panic trying to get away, and she caught me." She stopped there. Clearing her throat at a very low volume, she grabbed the bottom edge of her blouse and blazer, and pulled it up a little bit, just enough to show the bandage wrapped around her where Tsukuyomi had left her 'brand' on her. "They said...those cuts you saw on me that night, are more than likely going to scar where they are." She admitted, not liking any part of that statement as she said it.
