This bridge is an old stone bridge, there for decades. There are lamposts on it, and various benches and trashcans too. There is a small trolley that runs through here, but most students prefer to walk, instead of taking the trolley.

Both Ganra and Rilkon rushed through the area, hoping to make it into Library Island to finish up the little ritual. However, Ganra stopped for a brief moment, knowing it was probably impossible to try and outrun their pursuers forever... "Just finish it..." he muttered to Rilkon, forcing him to stop as well.
Both demons then sort of slapdashed the whole thing, but in mere moments, the Exmortis was opened, and Konoka's magic energy was siphoned into the unholy tome... though, they originally thouyght it would have killed her.
Instead, she lay comatose, even worse than before, and with a disturbing lack of color to her face. She was alive though, barely...

Captain Michael Sullivan Traitor to your unit Butcher of Salaminca Friend of No one Why do you continue to fight? Fight? This is not fighting. This is running. Running from a past you cannot control Running from who you are. I am a traitor
I am running
I did butcher those people
I cannot control the past
I have no friends
I am running from myself
I do continue to fight
But it is my decision to make. Not yours Michael ran, following the creatures. Thanks to the fact that he was in mostly good shape, he followed pretty well. Taking out a pistol he opened fire on Rilkon, trying to slow down the monster. Draw their attention, wait for reinforcements, and hope you live. The target was definitely the girl. Keep her safe until they could beat these creatures.

Rilkon heard gunshots, and immediately activated his aura, stopping the bullets dead in motion at him. "Fool, you've just given me a weapon..." he chuckled, and then looked to where his attacker was. He quickly spotted Michael, and sent the bullets back, aiming to not slow him down, but cause damage or kill him.
As for Ganra, he took a look at Micheal as well, though he seemed apathetic about this little fight. Konoka was already drained, and that was the only thing this job required. Taking one last look at Rilkon, he blinked, and without even giving warning, bolted off, fleeing the area.

Inu Iyoko Iyoko Pack's Traditional Former-Leader Inu flew into the path of the bullets, a powerful gust of wind coming to redirect the deflected bullets. "Magnetism, don't shoot at him again unless you want your own bullets in you." She warned Michael as she pulled out her blade to deflect teh rest of the bullets. She re-sheathed the sword and it hung on her back again, but loosely. Why? She'd see why soon. Rilkon, was he staying to fight? If so it was a problem, she could see Ganra fleeing with the girl. Growling, Inu's air magic boosted around her feet and hands. There was a burst of air around Inu before she took off fast, attempting to get a wide enough berth around Rilkon to pursue Ganra.

Ciardha simply appeared and disappeared again. That book was the key, and he was going to see just what it lead to. He might even be able to acquire it to add to the one hundred and one weapons of absolute destruction. They would handle the girl. However, just in case, he dropped another talisman on the ground. The one with the helmet. It exploded in a burst of green energy into a gigantic armored man. he had to be at least nine feet tall.
The armored man said nothing, only started at the fellow ahead of him. His master had given him an unspoken command, and it would be followed. He addressed his enemy the same as he would any enemy.

Rilkon snarled as Michael left, but this new opponent appeared before him. Armor? heh... metal... easy fight. Rilkon began to grin as his aura grew a bit, turning blue this time, seeming to forcefully pull the armored man towards him. As he did so he charged up his breath weapon, aiming to fire it off at him once he was close enough to be unable to escape.

Mikoto "Amy" Dialgo Mikoto walked along the bridge leading to what looked like a large library. Hm, she sensed magic in every orifice of this location. It was odd really. The demon girl's yellow eyes stared at her surroundings with some, however very little, interest. At least this place was more interesting than the hopeless young beings that crawled all over this school. She scowled some. Sinful, hopeless, cowardly humans, and all the demons that inhabited this world with them. In her eyes it was like they all deserved to be sent to the same place she came from.
